Talk about pathfinder gating for level 400 alt gear

gear for alliance, we had AP for last few days non stop
we haven’t seen gear in ages.

We had gold emmisary 2 times in 1 week about 2 weeks ago. Mostly we see the gold emmisary maybe twice a month if lucky thought.

On the horde side, after the ilevel increases on emmisaries, we would log in each day to AP, which we can’t even get for toons with capped AP 50.

Edit: Granted, bonus rep = gold so
 it just feels a little disconnected if you want to gear an alt to log on and immediately log off.

Read your own post. You ate implying there is some grand scheme behind it to “gate us” from Pathfinder.

That would be a conspiracy theory, when in reality it’s just RNG.

Not every day will be gear. Get over it.

that’s intentional tho, because just cause your 50 necklace doesn’t mean everyone else is. Other people need that AP emmisary too. In 8.2 its infinite anyway so no big deal.

Yes i get that. 400 tier is still 100 or so dusts, which you cannot get from world quests as frequently.

Bonus rep from capping AK directly translates to gold and resources which is nice, but there were no buffs to AP gain emmisary rewards, but for gear and tier emmisaries.

Unfortunately the whole point of this post is a very minor rant about RNG

It’s like imagine if you make an announcement ‘hey we’re increasing ilevel drop rewards so prepare your alts!’

So you log on each day on an alt to AP, and just log right off. for 5 days in a row now.

OK. I know it is “random” and this has happened before, but at this point it seems like trolling? It really does seem like they put this in, then “bumped” the machine to not output gear.

Maybe this is because it seems like in the week or two before that, I was getting gear several times that went directly to the scrapper.

The one thing i noted was that on tuesday for horde mages, all quests gave 370 tier, which is pretty useless if you already have 370 tier.

There were no 370 pieces for anything else. Ironically they did say they would work on the m+ cache cycle that used to not fill each slot evenly, yet it seems completely random in the world.

Also voldun is kind of broken, it’s like they don’t really want you to come play the game outside of raid and m+

I like the 370 “purple” azerite world quests, I bother to do those for the materials/residium. So that is a welcome upgrade.

If it makes u feel better, 3 of 4 of my alliance guys did the 395 emissary today and didnt get upgrades.
Only 1 got an upgrade of 5 ilvl.

I’m a super casual player too
