Silly that it asks repeatedly, I’ve also noticed recently that my in game B net list is sometimes empty and won’t display the people I’ve added even though they show up on the launcher.
Just delete all your friends

Why bother? Don’t you know that everyone just makes stalker alts on your server to see if you’re pretending to be offline? They all know when you’re doing it to them. It makes them suspicious, but they don’t ever bring it up with you, but they’re all thinking it and secretly talking about it behind your back. They are always watching and waiting to see the exact moment you log in and out. They are keeping detailed diaries of your activities. They keep track of every zone you’ve been in. You’re a big bright burning star that everyone keeps track of and wants to know about.

You could not keep ppl on your battle.net and keep them on discord.
“Offline” is flawed as hell. Ppl can still know you’re online. Never made sense to me.
