In Dragon Age, Dwarves can’t be Mages at all since they don’t have a connection to the spirit realm. The lore is bleeding over.
They may be more common in Shadowlands as I understand gender switching will be part of the Barbershop options.
Female dwarf? I thought that dwarves just sprout from the ground!

Dwarves hatch from eggs. Once a year at Brewfest, they swim up stream and lay eggs, feeding bears and marmosets.

I used to have a Dwarven Mage, then Kul’Tirans came out and that fixed that real quick.
I’ve seen Kul Tirans and believe me, ye enna fixed nuthin’
i wonder if dwarf mages can make magic beer. i’d never leave ironforge.
