Its about minimising the effects of inflation and manipulation of supply and demand by having excess bots being able to farm lots of gold and on sell it or many more items than would otherwise be available. Its not about putting a stigma onto the players that boost, if blizzard were better at banning bots there would be no need to segregate. Its about identifying problems and applying solutions.

You would prefer if people who think differenetly to you not be here… i.e are segregated, that is why it is ironic.

Yeah I am saying that PoS who want others divided based on nothing more than how they choose to play should endure or piss off

A black mark on me for wanting others to be free to play the game their way. Ill endure this just as you will endure the boost

Imagine trying to say the person calling out segregation is bad. How lost are you?

Ill bet you are one of the people also calling for marks on boosters so you can refuse to group with them

If were you, I would stop trying to explain your suggestion for an apartheid in the game.
Optimally, I would’ve never suggested such thing.

A boost free server would do nothing to prevent botting, within a couple months it would be the same as any other server.

your entire argument falls apart when you realize that

they can circumvent the American cost of an account with a boost for Argentinian prices (think 1/5th of USD, and can still play on NA servers and sell gold for USD)

leveling 1-58 is all dead time, in that amount of time they can easily make generous profit margins if they had just boosted and used that time gathering TBC items. Think - I can start making $2 an hour now if i spend $20, or i can run leveling bots round the clock for a week and only then start making that $2 an hour

botters will buy and boost 58s on as many accounts as they can, they dont care about the price to get in because you make money SO FAST

those BRD rogue bots make about 25g / hr for 24 hours a day, which is like 600g a day and last time someone told me gold prices it was like $40 for 1000

Exactly. See how she took the word segregation and applied it in a racially driven way with the thoughts of a 30 year old relic term. Which has absolutely nothing to do with segregating two types of wanted quality of life functions in a video game. Mind is blown by the lack of intelligence actually. All emotion; No logic.

You should let blizzard know maybe then they will crack down on botters

:thinking::thinking::thinking::thinking::thinking:

this is just wildly incorrect. just go to the botter forums and you can see how excited they are for the boost

Maybe you should tell blizzard this and they will crack down on botting.

:thinking::thinking::thinking::thinking::thinking:

Also where are these “forums” at???

None of you are holding Blizzard accountable for not doing anything against botters.

When a person drives drunk do we hold them accountable or do we just get rid of all alcohol in the world?

He thinks his logic is profound. It isn’t.

you can literally google exactly what you think you should google and you can find all sorts of websites dedicated to bots, it is not some hidden underground dark-web community

and i hate blizzard’s destructive incompetence more than anyone, and i hate bots, but Blizz+Bots are in cahoots

Easy to treat the symptoms and not the disease. These pukes dont care about bots if thats their take

I feel like botters “excited” for the boost are kind of ridiculous given how easy it is for them to bot level. We don’t even need to compare 4 months or w/e, how much will a bot make in an extra few days at max level? If it’s not $60 worth of gold, then the boost is a waste of money.

rogue bots are currently making about $25 USD / day right now, and a if a sub+boost is $75 USD you can convert that to the ACTUAL cost that botters will spend which is 1/5th the price, because botters use an Argentinian work-around to buy Blizzard stuff in their currency because it becomes much cheaper. So if they implemented the 58-boost right now, you would make up your per-account boost-price in well under a day, as opposed to needing to run a botting program for 7 days + just to get some toons ready. The returns much much quicker and safer if you introduce a boost.

Yes but most are assuming that the cost for a 58 level boost will be 60+ usd.

did you read what i said? even if it is $60 USD, botters will still only be spending like $12-15 USD tops because of the Argentinian currency trick that all the botters are already using

Yes but there was rumors saying that blizz fixed that by making it so the way you pay is from those countries.

I’m not sure how it works.

Let’s be real here this is a waste of energy anyway, boosts are here.

They are already on the beta.

They even designed a whole new tutorial for it with a bunch of tutorial quests.

They even made a new armor set for the boosts.

Y’all need to face reality and stop crying.

yeah whatever bud, now go back to all of your posts in this thread where you claimed to know what you were talking about while being completely off the mark and delete them

And pretending removing boosts would do anything to bots is a waste of breath anyways

Looking at a game with no boosts get overrun and theyre trying to convince me removing boosts will help

please
