I see through the lies of the Draenei.
1. Remember the Triumvirate of KJ, Archimonde, and Velen? You know who else had a Triumvirate? The Sith Lords in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2.
2. Velen pretends he is the old but wise peaceful leader. But what if he's just pulling a Chancellor Palpatine?
3. He was able to view the future and see what KJ and Archimonde would become if they accept the gift from Sargeras. What if he saw more? What if he saw their defeat, as well as his own if he took the gift? What if he then decided that his power would not be the gift of Sargeras, but the gift of deception? Do we know he isn't evil?
4. "But he has the light". He has the Naaru. But this begs the question, why is the light inherently good? Like the void, they could have an ulterior motive. And are we so sure it's the light and not some form of trickery?
5. He only fights when convenient for him. He showed up at the Sunwell after we defeated KJ. Then does nothing but sit around menacingly in the Exodar until Legion. In Legion, it was him who baited his rival Sith Lord, Kil'jaeden, out of hiding, and led a strike force to kill him. Seconds before KJ dies, you can see it on his face that he knew he was wrong about Velen.
6. His people have horns. Darth Maul had horns.
7. His people speak in some ancient language. Perhaps Sith? I'm not sure.
8. He has a starship.
/Retorts in ancient language
I am far more concerned with a Mr. Morden skulking around Shattrath, probably in league with Cro Threadstrong's arch nemesis and her ogre thugs.
For someone so obsessed with the Light, he was quite insistent during Legion that a certain warlock did his bidding.
Only a Sith deals in absolute.
Does it matter? He is the only one left... just wait for him casually have the title '%s, the Eternal Emperor'
