Do you tank? Because I know a of a few people who can’t do an 11 delve and farm 8’s 9’s and 10’s in M+. As a dps its very hard to survive 11 delves.
I believe there is only 1-2 month worth of content that ppl would be interested to do let that be lfr , M+, delve or whatever . Beyond that it is basically you slacking or just plain lazy .
The anniversary event is a great excuse for Blizzard to fill in the gaps till next patch .
No I play ret pally, delve gear IMO is fine. The issue I feel like with M+ is that they removed a whole subset of players that lived in the 5-12 key ranges of past seasons and now delves 8-11 are too hard and 1-5keys are also too hard. Just revert the key level change
EVERYTHING gets repetitive quick enough.
This is why I dont stick to one character, or one class, or one spec or just new content or old content…its why I do different things frequently.
This is another reason Id dont want to have friends in this game. Friends = expections/responsibity to do X, Y and Z every time we’re together, on everyones exact schedule for as long as it takes to get X-Z finished…every time we play.
BORING…
I want to log in, do what Im in the MOOD for doing, then log out.
I dont want to do the repetitive thing where Im doing it till Im sick of it, otherwise Im going to need a 3 - 4 month break again real quick.
Maybe a break is good.
I always take big long breaks and come back for major patches. Right now i did everything i want to do, and the anniversary is kind of meh to me. Seems low effort, almost resembling a prepatch event.
Good that you’re leaving. After writing the book, you need to go outside and touch grass. Take care
And then, after they do that, you can demand that it get pushed up again?
And then again after that?
All while not actually doing anything to beat more challenging fights, or improve at the game? Just… yell at Blizzard that they have to give you better and better free stuff, or you’ll quit?
Just quit.
That’s not a bug. As far as I am aware it is because someone collected it recently and it despawns after that. Is it annoying for it to appear as available and not be? Absolutely, I think I can say it is frustrating for anyone who gathers, and it has been for a few expansions now.
That’s not phasing, its sharding. Phasing is when you are in a different phase of the game, as in on a questchain different from someone else. Sharding is when something is placed into a different ‘shard’ which is done as a means of population control.
I think Delves should have been both simplified and improved. And I dont think including any sort of grind for them is a good thing. They would have been better to have been left alone for people to do as they wanted to, at their own leisure.
500 to 200 actually, which annoyed me muchly.
I admit I didnt read all of your post but you raised some decent points and I agree that the way they are designing the game right now needs to be looked at because not every direction is the right one.
With all sincerity, I’m glad you enjoyed what you did, games different now, the players are different, we’re all older. Keep your stuff because you’ll prolly be back eventually, however long it takes. Wow gets its hooks in people and it’s to hard to let go forever. When/if your return maybe check into to servers.
Wish you well.
WoW PvP is a deeply unserious PvP game… Why? Because it’s inherently unfair and Blizzard will never change that.
Think about CoD or Fortnite or Overwatch or any “real” PvP game. What do they have in common? Everyone starts basically the same. CoD is a little different because you level up guns and have a loadout but it’s mostly the same still.
WoW? Not so much. You need to grind Conquest, Honor, Crests, Valorstones and whatever else to level up your gear. You need to raid or do M+ to get particular trinkets. This creates an unfair advantages. WoW players like their unfair advantages. Blizzard likes them too because it forces engagement with current content. That’s why Blizzard will never change it.
Some MMOs actually normalize all gear in PvP so there is no unfair advantage.
On top of all that, there’s too much going on. For anyone casually watching, WoW PvP is deply inaccessible. There’s a million buffs and debuffs. Whereas you can watch a BR and you pretty much immediately know what’s going on intuitively. It’s “last man standing”. That’s it.
I think there a lot of people who would like a higher difficulty of delves to go with better gear. Even if it was like a Zekvir ??? with a weekly quest that would award 30 gilded crests or something like that so people who don’t do high keys or mythic raiding could upgrade their hero track gear. (Or very slowly craft 636 gear)
Oh no! You and your sweaty ilk cant find the time of day to touch grass so you grind wow like its a job then get mad when you burn out when its like a job? Lmfao.
A better approach would be no longer requiring Gilded crests for Hero-track gear. The overlap from tracks to crests is dumb.
Can I have gold?
I think this would be a good idea. IMO, part of the reason lower end gearing feels bad at the moment is the gap between runed crests and gilded crests is wider than before (619 vs 639). In the past it was usually a 13 ilvl difference IIRC, so going to 226 with runed would feel normal.
I’ve never made it up to the highest crests in previous seasons and it never bothered me, but this time it just feels worse and further behind.
The solution to this is buffing the bosses and weakening them as the objectives are completed.
AV: Buff the bodyguards big time to make burning the bunkers/towers worth doing/defending
IoC: have a buff on the boss tied to the gates to make landing in and sniping the boss harder Or give him bodyguards based on the gates being up
Trashran: never played enough to say
Fact is, Epic BGs are in a bad state due purely to Blizzard’s neglect. It wouldn’t take much to rebalance them into working condition. AV’s bonus objectives could probably also use modernization in general. Korak’s revenge comes around every years so the old head purists can stay quiet.
You DON’T NEED the best gear in the game.
Let’s say they made mythic items 700 ilvl or whatever, how does that impact you doing content in heroic ilvl loot? It doesn’t. (Assuming you don’t need to compete with others for a group slot.)
I never said I did. I’ve never had the best gear in the game and didn’t ask for it.
I said it feels worse for the 2nd best gear bracket to be further behind the best gear bracket than it used to be. Does it really matter? No, it doesn’t. But it still feels worse.
Still at it I see. Such a ridiculous hill to stand on. “They nerfed mob kill xp and I level just as fast. Grrrr”
I doubt that’s a problem for you.
FYI. He wont see this, I’m on his famous “ignore” list… but I couldnt resist.
