Fair enough, never liked the auto attack playstyle they had on classic era either. Mainly chose paladin in SoD cause I was excited about the tank changes and the fact ret was not a meme anymore.

But yeah. People seem shocked by the amount of damage a paladin can do in a burst if their auto attack, SoC auto, and DS all crit one after the other.

cant find anything in any patch notes that seem to indicate any sort of intentional class changes for this, so might actually be a legit bug

I think you should go back to Roblox. I’ve placed top 100 and higher multiple seasons in XIV’s ranked PvP which is a game that plays pretty similarly at the end of the day, and I also used to do well in WoW back when I played it though I never chased ranked back then really. I have a lot of experience in other games competitively too including games like Street Fighter which is a lot more technical and requires lot more skill than any MMO PvP does.

No, it really doesn’t. It means braindead crybabies who suck at the game can get what they want if they just whine hard enough and loud enough on the forums.

Avenger’s Shield straight up doesn’t even work sometimes and will just whiff on the target, and even when it does work classes like Hunters, Mages, Warlocks, and elemental Shamans will still kill you regardless if you do finally get close to them because they got to have a huge lead on damaging you versus you damaging them.

Yes, we point out broken spells and with extensive data collections and using their own eyes they immediately see a fix that needed to be made.

They made 2 other runes for PvP on your leg slot (rebuke, fear totem) and yet 90% of paladins use the tank rune for avenger shield.

The only thing that’s broken is your brain and your hands because you suck at the game so bad a slow on a 30 second cooldown on a class with zero mobility is something you consider “broken”

If your brain wasn’t broken you’d realize that Paladins would love to use Rebuke but they literally have to use Avenger’s Shield or they’ll just get infinitely kited. It also triggers a gcd switching both ways to and from the shield to even use it. Anyone who complained about it is straight up garbage at video games and a drooling knuckle-dragging mouth breather.
