Yay! Community Council Doing Stuff

Continuing the discussion from Covenant Swapping in 9.1.5:

Thanks for saying it! I’m glad that covenant swapping will set your hearthstone to the new covenant HQ if your previous hearthstone was set to your old covenant HQ.1 I am also hoping to see some news about a renown 80 token, and if renown will be significantly easier to cap because it’s now old content.

…speaking of covenants, we’re still waiting for a Community Council poster to point out that callings need to be “auto-pickup” like they were back in Legion and BFA

Still can’t believe a dev actually thought it was a good idea to make us travel aaaaaaallll the way back to our covenant (not fun/immersion-breaking/nuisance) to “manually” pick up each individual calling/emissary

… is… is this a win?

I am in need of a dill pickle. However, this is nice too.

…we’re calling a hotfix that any other dev team should’ve caught a win?

This seems like a huge reach…

It would have been nice to be able to set a hearthstone to Oribos and a hearthstone to your Covenant.

This is what we do around here if we want to have any joy at all! We’re not getting more so might as well enjoy the small victories. Or we could enjoy nothing :woman_shrugging: Not judging I get why people would do that right now.

At least the CC resulted in some change to the game, now we all have some example of a thing that the CC said and Blizzard actually followed through with. So that’s nice!

Was there a blue saying something look “good idea, I’m going to do that” or something to suggest it was actually CC that got it done? May well have just been coincidence.

Its good to see the community council is tackling the real tough problems plaguing WoW.

I don’t know, but it’s a good point. They could have seen it asked on GD, Twitter, or even a message to one of them in-game for all I know. Dev communication is pretty bad so I rarely know where they get their ideas from. I really don’t. And some ideas I do know where they get them from, their butt! For example, no mounting in the maw. Butt idea. Let’s just take the win!

They make suggestions and Blizzard decides to act or not. So blaming them because Blizzard didn’t address an issue you find important is rather stupid.

Asked this a long time ago. Thank goodness I got my last necroray egg this week. Still need 1 soulshape+venthyr toy from callings and few 9.0 paragon items.

Happy to see the light at the end of this obtuse SL wq system.

Just stating a simple fact. Didn’t blame anyone so don’t get spicy with me ok? Thanks.

People have been asking for this for ages.

If dev team needs CC to point things out to them, they’re even more out of touch and dysfunctional than we thought.

(I don’t think that’s the case, though.)

I hate quests that auto add to my log.

Ive seen others not like it (think bfa invasions)

You want callings? hearth back and snag em.

Or put it on a giver in oribos

Agreed, people hated the auto-added BfA faction war invasion quests.

Now people want them back? No thanks.

We should be able to level all four covenants at once. Having to continuously go back to Oribos to swap for PVP, Raiding or M+, is a terrible hassle.

I think they should just do the same thing as BFA/Legion Emissaries and have them on your map!

I want pizza.

Yeah, if I want a quest I will accept it. I don’t need things auto added to my quest log.
