not really. most of the time i give my 2-cents on the OP’s topic, and then i dip out. i only dip back in if folks start replying/hearting my comment.

Like this?
More often than not, I enter a thread with something to say…. and someone already said it, they said it better, and they even attached a trendy gif - so I just like that post, and leave the thread.
Oh, yeah, all the time.
Sometimes I answer the original poster without reading all the posts, because I want to answer while my contribution is still fresh in my head. Then I see the duel argument the appropriate popcorn memes and a few people taking sides. Whatever I had to say got buried.
Funny thing, sometimes 6 months later I’ll get a notification ‘so-and-so liked your post.’ and then I’ll see it’s the post that got buried between the argument. Then I have to laugh, well, at least someone appreciated what I had to say.
precisely.
I don’t know I guess I tend to be the person derailing threads instead because something interests me.
That ones so easy I wonder if you picked that example intentionally.
The sky isn’t actually blue. What you’re seeing is the result of Rayleigh scattering, where shorter wavelengths of light are scattered in all directions by the gases and particles in the atmosphere. That’s why it looks blue during the day. But technically, the sky isn’t any color; it’s just what your eyes perceive due to how light interacts with the atmosphere. If our eyes were more sensitive to violet light, we’d probably call it purple instead.
The fun ones are our hardcore players telling everyone to git gud.
I’ve been playing Phasmo with the partner lately and the new player experience is just not all there. That hardcore player experience though? Locked down and primed. Practically perfection.
Kinda feels the same way over here. Folks force you into being an experienced player one way or another. Screw how the game presents itself, go learn from external resources.
Do the exact same. Even if it’s one with some 100 posts where what I’m about to write has probably already been wrote or asked at least once.
Can be a fun way to diffuse the situation
OP you just described the story forums.
I mean to be fair even when it stays on topic it’s rarely helpful as the op wasn’t looking for an answer but to argue with people.
Well that escalated oddly…
That’s quite an accusation…
I’m color blind so it’s ableist for you to tell me the sky is blue.
When you go to the circus, you can’t get mad when the clowns arrive. It’s part of the show.
I feel like this thread is a paradox waiting to happen.
It is, and I keep hoping it will just die off. I made it at the end of a long third shift and never expected it to stick around like this.
I like pineapple pizza.
I’ve been in two threads today. Both had the “I’ll block you for having a differing opinion” troll. I didn’t recognize the name from previously.
