lose in row ,get stuck sub 1700 …playing with people who dont really care they just want the gear …im always theonly one to lose rating …mmr rating is a joke …your rating should be your rating …i can handle getting rolled every so often …the way it is now im stuck in the dregs with no way way out …im told the system is made to match people at the same skill level …but i say screw that …complete random should be the way to go …least ide get a shot …instead of being stuck below 1700 …where the game play is awful…i dont need gear andi really dont give a rip about the phoney rating system …i do however want to play in and against quality play and players …lose 4 in arow and thats not gonna happen…getting qued with under geared no rating people = another lost 18 rating …BLEH…ive got 4 fully geared 80s …might as well run them into the ground …and i would if the que times were not 20 mins long
It sounds like you’re just not as good as you think you are. Maybe don’t take the game so seriously and try to have fun. A rating is just a number.
If one of your toons is stuck in MMR hell it’s just best to try a diff spec or try a diff class and hope you go on a win streak or have a decent w/l ratio at the start, my elemental got placed into 2500+ mmr from going 7-3

I recommend using MMR only for matchmaking so all players have the same amount of CR at risk to earn or lose every match but Blizzard likes to have CR gains and loses be a mystery until the match ends.

I think toxic is overrating your own ability and blaming everyone else around you for your failures. I guess I’m just old-fashioned.
Who cares about rating. Blizz is so bad at launching broken gameplay …. Even if you climb cr anything over 1600+ is longer ques. Just throw some games. I just threw a game to bring me back down to like 1500cr it’s like -200cr and then You’re good to go for a while. Broken game so play broken
Good Post OP! I honestly think the Devs care, but are stretched too thin by their evil Corpo overlords. Do the devs fight for the players, or keep their jobs, they have families and bills…
PvP has been abandoned in favor of content that makes more money. That whole in game report system is for them to say here ya go, its your problem now. Fresh classic wow will have tens of thousands of bots. Maybe comes a time when the players realize they did not quit the game, the game quit them.
