Xy'rath's Signature Saber not BoA

This weapon transmog needs to be a Bind on Account epic transmog token like every other weapon in Zereth Mortis. I got the blue version of this sword from Tazavesh on my Death Knight to unlock the transmog. I tried killing Xy’Rath on my DK and did not get sword. I then killed on my hunter in survival spec (uses agility, can unlock swords) and did not get the sword.

I checked Wowhead… this sword is a Bind on Pickup Rare item, spec locked to Monk/DH/Outlaw Rogue. This is really disappointing if you don’t have one of these 3 classes at max level.

Please make this sword a Bind on Account Epic transmog token like every other weapon in the Zereth Mortis zone i been getting!

I was wondering if I needed to switch to outlaw loot to get those swords, guess I do.

But I’ve also gotten 2h hammers and stuff on my rogue so who knows.

So Wowhead was either wrong or this got hotfixed. I just got the sword on my Mage and it unlocked the Transmog.

My friend received it on a paladin.

So although wowhead says it only loots to ability sword users, it appears any sword user can loot it. Or at least ones that primarily use swords. No idea if hunter can.

We can equip pretty much everything except maces and wands (maybe fist). They don’t do us any good. But we can equip it, so we can unlock it.

Thus, every weapon is a hunter weapon. :slight_smile:

This logic extends to Elite PvP weapon unlocks, I managed to unlocked 1h sword, 2h sword, 2h axe, polearm, staff, dagger by upgrading them to 8/9 at end of pvp season 2 :smiley:

Hate to break it to you. You must of been unholy spec cause im am curretly using the saber as one of my 2 frost weapons.

Also: if you’re using this as a DK, you’re playing the game wrong. You don’t use agility.

No agility on mine. Stamina, critical strike, abd Versitility

Go kill the Dune bosses for a strength weapon or go get the strength sword from Engulfer. Xy’rath’s is absolutely an agility weapon. It’s greyed out for you and you shouldn’t be using an agility weapon.
