Right so here’s the catch: Some loot is specifically locked behind the hard mode, which can only be triggered by getting his health low, killing the heart, but somehow not killing him. But even after removing all my gear, I one shot him with an auto attack. Any advice on what to do here?

Not usable inside instances, sadly.
God I wish it’d make a bunch of achievements also far more doable like the one where you need to roast iron dwarves with the protodrake’s flames but nope, doesn’t work in instances, the one place where it’d be most helpful (Especially for things like taming Chimeron in Blackwing Descent now that levels have crept up)
