The best guilds in the world, with meta stacked comps, couldn’t even get it below 30%.
Xt 25man hardmode has now been killed. Should be able to be killed in under 5 minutes for most decent guilds.

Despite people on this forum being confused and angry over the word “nerf,” this was obviously needed unless you wanted him to be a phase 3 or phase 4 boss for most guilds. For some reason I don’t see guilds killing the Lich King then swinging back around to XT to finally kill him on hard mode. Thanks
Yeah totally. Because the phrase, “XT is too hard, let’s just go kill Algalon instead” makes SO much more sense.

If the boss was a joke it would of been killed, esp as the boss made to be the hardest alg has been. It hasen’t been, least as far as logs can see.

He has 25 million health 25 man hard mode and 18 on 10 man. There is zero difficulty with the fight.

There is not a single log killnig xt on 25 man pre the nerf.
Okay and? People had the boss at 30% on week 2 nobody cares if you couldnt kill an optional, non required hard mode at week 2 literally it would have fallen over by week 4 with proper game play

Yes people did care. As blizzard themselves mentioned they wanted the boss to still feel correct within the progression path.

This is even blizzards stated reason for the nerf in the pre live Q and A’s when they mentioned they where considering nerfing him.
Alg is meant to be the big end boss of the tier not XT. Xt being harder than the big end boss makes 0 sense and is NOT historically accurate. It makes no sense for it to be tuned to that level.

XT is a math problem for any competent guild was solved in time. He wasnt hard, it was just tuned tightly which is fine
People parroting XT being hard have no idea what theyre on about.
Alg might have more cordination and planning but that is not all there is to diff.
Fact is alg was killed xt was not. This means in the progression order XT came after alg by diff. As such this is Incorrect by the progression order blizzard wants and incorrect by the order historically. This is irrefutable fact as the numbers back it up.
You being able to get XT later on once you get gear means EXACTLY NOTHING. We are talknig progression order as such the order you are able to kill something in. If you have to gear up for something first it is later in the order.
Fact is XT was hard due to the gear level required with IS part of difficulty the fact you cant understand that means you have NO place to speak about tuning as you have no idea what you are talknig about as you lack the brain power to understand even the basic factors that are locked at when tuning.
No Xt being tuned tighter than alg is not fine as its out of the order its meant to be in both historically and by dev intent.

XT was killed my dude, read this back and ask yourself is what I am saying making anysense? how can someone even progress if they don’t kill XT. the HARD MODE THAT WAS OPTIONAL was not killed because guess what? people knew it was a tight DPS check, thats literally it. Algalon overall is and still will be the hardest thing in the raid.
