I am a returning player and have been leveling up my mage. She is 111 now. Her kills are only giving 2 xp. Is this right? She is killing stuff the same level she is.
At 111 you need to go to BFA to get normal xp on mob kills.
Legion to bfa they cut the âeasyâ xp real fast.

To be clear, are you killing enemies in Battle for Azeroth zones? And, do they have a âminiatureâ healthbar?
Yeah I am killing NPCs in Sulamar. Only getting 2 xp from each.
Thatâs the problem. Suramar is a Legion zone. Since youâre considered overlevelled for Legion content, XP in Legion zones gets cut heavily.
So where should I take her to keep leveling?
mob xp drops now in legion. Even if you dungeon spam it.
your only easy xp in legion content now is archeology. that keeps full value.
Rest of the xp goes to crap.
You need to move onto Zuldazar, which I think requires you to return to Orgrimmar to start the introductory questline.

Your experience is cut by 90% where you currently are. Go back to your main capital city, it should give you a quest to meet with your faction leader to get a quest chain to BFA lands.
BFA is where you go.
OrâŚthe Korrack AV event. This levels real fast. ButâŚyou wonât get gear really so when you hit 120 it can be rough as your gear will have issues on even WQâs.
That quest that queues you for the Undercity?
THIS! I have been leveling alt all week. I now had 12 at 110, now have 9 at 120 using the Korrack event. Ironically, they never kill Korrack, but wait to 120 then kill him northrend for an iLVL 400 weapon 
Use the green eyeball, pvp tab, bottom to queue
You need to finish that at least once. After that, all future characters on your account can skip it and jump straight to their respective BfA capital city.

And pet battles. Tamer xp always scales to your level and the tamers that are part of the Family Familiar achievement can be fought over and over with full xp each time.
