Ight so, twinks have been getting neutered a lot, many nerfs to our advantages have swept through.
I get it.
What I don’t get, is nerfing our stuff, and still not letting us return to BGs, while simultaneously allowing max levels to party sync down and decimate far harder then we ever did.
I just don’t understand that part, you nerfed our twinks to close the power gap, but then for no reason since we can’t que, might aswell left our stuff alone.
If you’re going to continue to allow party sync players, who arguably have a larger gap then even we have into the bgs, atleast let us get in the mix aswell. Either that or disable the party sync for bg ques.
Also breh, fix all the damn items that don’t show level requirements, tired of getting something that I can’t use because it doesn’t say what level it needs to be to use it
If you wanna twink, you can still do it in Classic.
If you’re really passionate about it, you will. If you just want easy gearing and twinking(which is what retail would allow, especially in the trial account bracket), then it’s just about farming the undergeared people, which is part of what brings negative attention to twinking.
GW2 PvP had a system where stat bonuses from gear were removed, and instead you chose a stat distribution from the different gear types. So, for example, choosing “Nomad” stats gave you A large boost to armor, healing, and health, while “Berzerker” gave you a boost to damage and healing.
Effectively, you have the same stats in PvP as you would with the best gear for your level. It just didn’t come from your gear.
I’m sorry that the twink community got everything they ever asked for.
Oh wait, I said that they would not be able to get consistent groups after removing xp and separating the battlegrounds and guess what I was right
Enjoy everything the twink “community” asked for, their own playground and to play only against other twinks as it’s such a widely played play style that they can have BGs running all day and night. oh wait… it’s not. Level up and play with the big boys.
We very much would be accepting of having access to normal BGs with restrictions on how powerful we can be.
At this point, it’s literally just the community refusing to allow us to participate on our twink characters, despite our willingness to give up the massive power gap.
Even then, they still complained so hard that even when we couldn’t get into their bgs, we still would get rounds of nerfs over and over, despite not being prevalent in their bgs.
No, no we definitely did not want to have our brackets split significantly to the point of inability to form a BG without heavy cooridination once in a blue moon.
This is factually incorrect.
People are Twinking at 60, look at the party sync twinks literally decimating lower level brackets far more then low level twinks did.
And, as I’ve said, I want us to return to the normal BGs, with our power levels restricted. As it’s far more preferable to be have access to a reasonable amount of BGs without the power gap, then have the power gap and need to wait weeks for a cooridinated group of 50 people to form a BG
The problem with adding restrictions to power level is that it can’t be applied to only you. The system will effect everybody and nobody else wants another scaling system added to the game. Go twink in classic, move your twink to BC when it comes out, and enjoy.
Before the XP off system was brought in twinks kept coming to the forums saying how it was not fair that there were real players in ‘their’ battleground and how they needed twink only battlegrounds so they can make it about ‘skill’ lol ! Regular players also did not want the overpowered bullies in BG especially when XP was added so Blizzard made everyone happy and gave twinks what they wanted which was to be able to play against only each other with XP off to test their ‘skill’ (again in quotes cause LOL ) .
Remove XP off and XP off BG then force twinks to level via BG (xp per kill or flag etc) then sure.
30-39 community is growing fast (my personal favorite!) and hosts war games every Friday… currently doing 10v10s and someone said they were going to start doing a “jackpot” style arena tourney for 30’s next month also. (Wow tokens/gold)
20-29 is popping because of all the F2P. I don’t see many 29s but plenty of 20s.
40s is decent and as more people find out about the op lvl 48 SL gearing I bet it takes off more.
50-59 requires M nyalotha to be “BiS” twinked, so that might take a bit longer. That’s mostly just people leveling alts.

Regardless, the easiest way to cheese lowbies is level a toon to 20 through BC dungeons and gem up, or level to 30 and buy cata valor gear, and you can farm them for 9 levels delete the toon and rinse and repeat. I got 220 on max level and called it a day, this is what I’m doing now lmao. 4-5 hours of leveling, 1-2 hours to gear, gy farm hordelings till you level out. Rinse repeat. Don’t even have to truly put any effort in or lock exp once. You won’t be BiS but you’ll be able to make someone ragequit
