Trash mobs should reward ALOT more XP. It feels like a complete waste of time to fight mobs.
Dungeon Quests should also be repeatable for XP.
Random queueing into a Dungeon which quests I have completed, feels punishing.
More so, if there is a Dungeon I particularly enjoy, but have completed all the quests, queueing for it specifically is a complete waste of time. Because I will not have quest experience, random dungeon experience, and the experience for killing mobs is trash.

This is my 4th Shaman,I previously leveled up a Shaman in each spec.. While leveling this one, I was using Heirlooms, Enchants on those heirlooms, Elixirs/Flasks and Food Buffs. I have 2/3 of the mage tower skins for Shaman (Didn't do the restoration mage tower). Despite having the gear, knowledge, and whatever "Skill" you need to press 3 buttons for abilities for the majority of leveling, everything took way too long to kill. and the available abilities I had to level using was a joke. No matter what spec. /Played 68 hours with exp potions as well. Granted, I didn't do the Karazhan trick.
It's funny how people told me it's better once I unlocked my Mastery stat, but even after that, I was doing the same amount of damage as my resto spec (Same Rotation as well)
Sub ends in 5 minutes, I'm not going to regret letting it lapse like I did for the majority of WoD and Legion.
I have been collecting up the information to choose the best enchants and stuff to put on heirlooms, then I've been having my enchanter farm the mats and make them and I'll soon have a nice set of enchants on my looms.
Even with all that it is still just tedious and boring to level.
I sometimes go days without even logging in because tedious / boring / repetition of same ol same ol with meat damage sponges is not fun.

Just ran 6 dungeons with my void elf rogue, I try to get everyone's opinion on the current state of xp, heirlooms and dungeon difficulty during the run.
Not one person I ran with likes the post 7.3.5 garbage.
Also I wanted you all to see this...

This is the necklace I got from the bag completion reward of the dungeon I just ran.
One item level higher than the heirloom I am using, don't think this is broke, think again.
This is a joke!
Something needs to be done soon. As I said before, if the pre-patch hits and nothing is done. I'm out.
I used to enjoy leveling alts but not anymore.

There's no way to "speed" anything without having a 110 doing dungeons for you and even that is still slow because you're forced to be locked on the 10 instances lock and indeed a 110 drains 90% of the exp so you don't get that much either but clears dungeons much faster.
Vers enchants might seem you do some damage but it just feels like doing WoD content.. I switched my nightborne mage to arcane and went full vers build (instad of haste I was frost before) and it's still not enough..
Terrible definition of "balance" they did with leveling on 7.3.5.
Finally got max in just a hair shy of 3 days /played, with looms/enchants. Let me just say this: I am never leveling another character again(and never going to buy a boost), it was pure torture. I can finally experience this current expacs content and PvP now :3
Sucks because I'd like to level and play some other characters but its not worth the time or $60, I got games to save for :3
These changes are stupid and dumb and like so not cool man.

The scaling was a great idea the Nerf to xp was not.
Reverse the changes on heirlooms, add heirlooms too all slots, decrease the xp necessary for a level or increase the xp gained.
For all of this people saying "leveling is fine now" just remove your damn heirlooms and let the other people level fast as they can.
Fel, even if you don't want this to be easy, make it unlockable. Make loremaster a requirement for all of the above.

Seems entirely reasonable. I think something between 60-70 hours depending on your play style, class chosen, and content done.
For the people who want it quick-quick-quick, what would you say is a reasonable investment of time for going from 1-110 if ~70 hours is too much?
70 hours compared to 20 to 24 hours what it used to be yeah i think thats a big difference.
24-ish with heirlooms, 48+ without.06/10/2018 08:57 PMPosted by BoltskillFor the people who want it quick-quick-quick, what would you say is a reasonable investment of time for going from 1-110 if ~70 hours is too much?
Going from 16-18 hours to hit cap to suddenly being slammed into 2+ days was a bit much especially with fully upgraded heirlooms.

This is a great idea.
Getting Gnomer with no quests almost physically hurts. Punishing was a great word choice.
06/10/2018 03:27 AMPosted by IninjaclothAlright, Just hit 110, took me 2 days, 22 hours played time. It went by really quick! No real snags for me.
70 hours of play time just to reach the beginning of the end game on a single character. In a game where getting to the endgame is just the start of a new, very long drawn out process of catching up, still... That is insane.
I can beat a single player JRPG with a high completion percentage in less time.

With full heirlooms and practically expert knowledge of the game.

LAWL what drugs are you on?
Pretty much the consensus in most of the leveling threads tbh.06/10/2018 08:34 PMPosted by KaelhThe scaling was a great idea the Nerf to xp was not.
Xp bonus buff would be great. Maybe add some bonus xp to heirloom weps, and trinkets? Also liking the idea of making low level dungeon quests repeatable. Make them daily quests that give a good xp reward.06/10/2018 08:34 PMPosted by KaelhReverse the changes on heirlooms, add heirlooms too all slots, decrease the xp necessary for a level or increase the xp gained.
How many subscribers have to leave before Blizzard returns to thinking about the players enjoyment rather than their Mau?

I dont raid. So maybe a few more bgs and that's it. I've already rerolled a new Lightforged Paladin and will begin leveling today! I currently have 15 110s!
Still waiting for some response on these matters Blizz, the longer the wait, the greater the anger will be and the more customers you will lose.
