I’ve had good and bad experiences at endgame, I do a lot of different things with my game time, thats not the point. Everyone can see the levels of expectation in any preformed group at endgame, and the ragers at anyone not meeting those expectations. I dont know how many 15s Ive been in this expansion where because a wipe happens or one person keeps dying they leave and kill the key even though we easily would have finished in time, +2 or even +3 it because someone in the group didnt meet thier standards. (not at me generally, but the key is dead all the same and the person raged at is that much kess likely to continue playing the game, not to mention raids ect) This has been throughout the expansion at any level of difficulty, even when its a complete steamroll. Heck you can pull trash in way the dont like or not do a skip they like and they rage and half the time drop group, its absurd. Its a game, and the worst part about it is other people, and the worst of them are at endgame. You want people to grow attached to the game and feel invested enough to go through that growing pain whether theyre completely new or coming back enough not to toss the game aside then you have to give people a reason to spend more time in the leveling experience, its simple psychology. And all the raging of alot of the same kinds of players about it when they have every advantage to optimize the time it takes to me is just more of the gogogogo crowd who feel like theyre above it all and just want to log in and click gift packages of all the new things the game offers right when it comes out. Newsflash, mmorpgs need time sinks for new rewards (or they die as people who say that they dont want time sinks get everything they want, say theyve done everything and unsub while the people who stick around subsidize thier playstyle by paying for the new content they say is the only thing they care about) and one of the major rewards is alts, and new appearances.

News Flash: Grammar and Punctuation is super hard.

In all seriousness, you keep spouting out about crappy endgame content experiences you've had, which makes no sense whatsoever in context to this thread. Join a better guild? Find better people to run stuff with? I don't honestly know what to tell you. I reached out and found a guild of nice people that do endgame content without the BS...so...idk.

I do agree that having time sinks is a good thing. It is a major necessity to keep players in the game, and invested in what they are doing. But lets be real here, instead of coming up with something original for these armor sets be earned, you go back and tune 10 year old content to be even worse for a cruddy armor skin. That's your idea of a just reward and time sink? Why not do a quest chain for allied races at cap level that is challenging or grindy?

The biggest problem you seem to miss here is that 80% of the tools we use at endgame to complete this endgame content isn't learned until the last 10 levels of this monotonous grind. You teach 'new' players NOTHING while they level other than smash these 3 keys without falling asleep. You speak of players raging at other people for not knowing what to do while doing endgame? Then stop tuning this garbage in such a way where enemies have crazy high hp totals while being brain-dead easy and we have no skills/talents to work with whatsoever. Want to make players better? Then actually take the time to revamp the skill-sets we get as we level and let us do appropriate damage to enemies while they scale and add in relevant mechanics. This even goes to say let people have their fast leveling speeds back. Stop worrying what other people are doing in relation to what you are doing.

Endgame content outside of M+ and heroic/mythic raids is an absolute joke. Leveling dungeons are harder than Mythic/heroic dungeons and LFR/Normal raids. This balancing setup is so backwards, and your new leveling system does nothing to help anyone. Bad players will still remain bad, good players will still find a way to be good. Its all in how much effort you put in. A cruddy leveling experience won't do anything for anyone besides create this 60+ page thread of back-and-forth complaining and arguing over stupid crap that should not have changed in the first place. Go look at any leveling zone 2 hops from a city and see what I mean. You obviously haven't leveled at yet.

I never said the endgame was crappy, I said it was stressful and intimidating and a mine field of ragers who have no chill. I can deal with those people, and I enjoy the endgame quite a bit, I think Blizz did a great job designing it this expansion. Ive gotten my aotc for every raid with each one faster than the last, managing to pug full clear heroic Antorus week 1. And Ive gotten my 15 cache every week this raid tier on my main, and led the majority of my pug heroic Antorus raid clears. (I left the game after BC due to a busy life and only came back late WoD and had to attune myself to raiding and everything else). I had a raiding group that I liked for awhile that ended up slowly breaking up as people found guilds that were more serious that I wasnt interested in.

Players aren’t bad or good because of thier skill level, theyre bad or good because of thier attitude.

I’ve leveled one char from 1-110 since the changes (with the boost) and have several others I’m working on. (I have 22 110s atm).

Should we have the option to have more loot drop from raids if we want it? Why won’t Blizz give me the option to get twice as much loot per raid boss if I want it? Let me have super reroll tokens that always give loot if I want them? The idea of a fster leveling “option” is as rediculous in the leveling context as anything else. Want the reward, then do the work like anyone else, want the reward 52 times, then do the work 52 times. Sheesh.
