Xp buff question

Hello

This concerns the XP elimination buff one gets if he disables leveling (specifically, the fact that everyone in the group gets reduced xp). I really enjoy Outlands and Northrend content and was wondering if someone could tell me what would happen if my level-locked character did a random dungeon? Does the whole group get penalized simply because i don’t want to out-level the content, or does the XP buff only kick in if I get manually invited to a group?

I get that the change has something to do with twinking, but you can take a look at my lifetime PVP record and see clearly that PVP isn’t one of my interests.

It only affects parties, not instance groups.

Instance groups are the random groups, parties are the ones you invite to.

I vaguely remember when this became a problem but I can’t for the life of me remember why it was done.

111 dungeon boosting by dhs. You could get a bunch of azerite for speed and still had your legendaries
