XP bar text visibility option in Vanilla

I seem to remember there used to be an option in Vanilla to turn on the XP bar numbers.

From the looks of things this option got subsequently removed and not introduced for Classic?

I also remember this (at least from Wrath), and am looking for a way to get the status bar numbers. If anyone knows how to get them please let us know!

I believe this was added after Vanilla. That said, there’s probably an addon for it.

You can type in /console XpBarText 1 and then press enter. Then /reload to reload the UI and it will now show the experience bar text.

Thanks, Aranyax. That works well. And if you change “1” to “0” it turns it back off.

You still get the number anytime the mouse is over the XP bar.
