Did anyone check this video out? I tend to agree that addons shouldn’t be allowed in tournaments (or anywhere) but I wasn’t aware that RMP only became the terror that it is once addons were allowed in tourney play.

Tbh as a healer if I didn’t have addons I’d just quit.
And as someone who plays rmp sometimes I’d never queue that comp if I wasn’t able to track dr’s.
Game is too complicated, back in the day you had to listen to the game sound to know if someone kicked or not very troll.
But if third parties are allowed to solve warcrafts UI problems, it’s never going to get better, and it’s always going to be an arms race for non PVP things.
Only few streamers care about addons banning. Most of us enjoying having them. If streamers have nothing else to do fight for good game balance instead of talking about minuscule feature that MOST enjoy.

No it wouldn’t make game more fair for average PVP player that is ATM somewhere around 1500 and unable to track all @@@@ that game created.
Again there are so many other issues out there and PVP improvements that addons should be a last thing on that list.
Also who the hell care about WOW tourney anymore. Some random streamer picking his nose gets more views than wow GLOBAL tourney. Wow arena is not fair, competitive or easy to pick up e-sport. Views of recent tourney clearly showed that most don’t give @@@@ about AWC.

there is no right or wrong answer to this. some people like addons and it makes their life easier, other people like pikaboo are pros and have played without addons, and played well. The truth is theres a lot of people in between and most people dont have an issue with addons even if they make fun of them.

Since everyone is perfectly crossed and there’s also very little juking involved I think playing without addons vs rogue mage would be even harder in tourneys with current state of it

Back on topic, but, I found from healing that this works with other similar things. Like I’d know when the other teams goes were coming from which CDs of mine were cycling back up depending on what the timer on those CDs were.
Now I have omnibar and that doesn’t matter. But I think addons just simplify things people can mostly do without them.
Ofc the way they present information can be magnitudes more convenient to the point where they’re an advantage. But yea.
No, if it is cannot get out on its own it stuck well. You use something like that and they will blame you with animal cruelty if its dies.
Also they do carry lot of decease so no just let them deal with it.

I mean addons or not as Rogue or in general classes with short stun cds you would just macro a stopwatch to track your drs if you didn’t have addons.
That’s what people used to do back in the days aswell. RMP will not automatically get harder
