I doubt that since Im guildless and getting disconnected like crazy now.
“we talk about it on row at least weekly, but until there’s movement there’s nothing else we can provide for you.”
How about a refund or some free game time? No? That’s what I thought.
Hey there,
We went ahead and moved this to a new thread since the disconnect is not being caused by that issue. I ran some logs and it looks like the server stopped receiving an incoming connection from the local game client.
If this is a wireless connection I normally recommend testing while on a wired connection instead to rule out interference as a possible cause. Restarting the computer and network devices is also recommended. For the network devices, leaving them unplugged for an additional 15 minutes may help clear out any lingering power/data on the device so it has a fresh startup once it’s plugged back in.
If the game is still disconnecting after that, we may need to grab a winMTR so we can further investigate the problem. Here are the instructions:
- Download the tool from this page
- Enter the game IP into the “host” field. The IP address for our games are listed on the winMTR instructions page
- Start the test and play the affected game for at least 15 minutes. Ensure the problem happens while the winMTR tool is running.
- After recording the problem data, click “export text” and save the winMTR file in an easy to find location.
- Once you have that made, open the file. You’ll need to copy and paste the contents of the Text document into the post, and put four Tilde (~) marks above the winMTR. It’ll look like this:
