If you have Xal’atath transmogged as a Shadow Priest you’re getting juicy whispers from our favorite blade. In Ona’haran Plains she whispers that we may “confront her brethren in this conflict”

Those aren’t new whispers as far as I’m aware. She whispers outside of the legion content, so it’s probably just a random whisper that just so happened to play in a dragonflight zone.

Canonically the dagger is empty and Xal’atath is wandering the cosmos so such a whisper would make zero canon sense.

My favorite Xal’atath interaction was in Halls of Valor. She tells you to confront Odyn and ask him what Helyas last words to him were.
He promptly gets very upset at you for mocking him and one shots you.

I hope Blizzard does a Ragnarok at some point. While I think making the Titans as a whole villains is cringe, the idea of taking down Odyn is awesome and could evoke serious Legion vibes which is only a good thing.
Xalatath was a great weapon. Because everyone has that friend.

These appear to be very specific whispers for each zone and instance not just generic ones. there are several. i wont spoil. but highly interesting stuff.

yes! I use it as my xmog most of the time and ive gotten whispers in certain areas saying certain things related to that area.

in shadowlands the ashbringer hidden skin has a unique effect, once in awhile you hear a small whisper “in the light we are one” this of corse is in audio only happened a few times on my paladin and in shadowlands areas only.

Hmm Ragnarok scenario but the adventurers are on the opposite side of the Keepers… Lets not forget while the Titans made the keepers they do have a mind of their own and have turned before. I don’t see the Titans or Old Gods as evil, just cosmic forces that consider us beneath notice unless they need/want something from us.

it makes a lot of sense to have some of the whispers ive had. old gods have definitely influenced the aspects and the primals at times. i doubt we’ve seen the last of them if the whispers are anything to go by. lots of foreshadowing.

wanna know something else? in ardenweald in the hibernal hollow there is a tiger spirit named ( night elf mother ) she mentions how its nice to be in elunes sisters realm. this npc was in game since shadowlands launch so, i dont think people pay enough attention to detail in the small things in wow. in more recent times in wow expansions your past actions with npc’s are being acknowledged by the npc’s. its nice to see RPG elements being added in game.
