Just putting it out on the universe that I want that shoulder orb burst ability Xal’atath used against Khadgar for shadow priest.
I mean we did use Xal as a knife in Legion, so…

I know, I know….copium is highly addictive and I have a bad case.
They kept Sylvanas as a ranged attack boss which rightfully so should be.
But they seem to be taking Anduin from a clear Priest like character and moving him to be more of a Paladin with an obvious Death Knight sword welding archetype in his raid fight instead of exploring a more shadow caster side of things.
So it wouldn’t surprise me for us to eventually see the culmination of all of Xal’ataths powers be focused on some melee void welding boss instead of a proper ranged boss.
Hopefully I’m wrong but if that does indeed happen then you can absolutely forget the idea that blizzard has any creative direction to take Shadow Priest in if they fail to land a cool ranged void caster boss that then they can finally have things to borrow and reintroduce in some form for Shadow Priests.
