I’m going to be honest—this affix is one of the worst Blizzard has ever introduced in Mythic+ dungeons. The second you have to move because of a boss ability, and nobody can CC the adds, it’s pretty much a guaranteed wipe. It completely ruins the flow of the run.
Even worse, the adds spawn in areas that are out of Line of Sight, and abilities don’t even hit them. It’s maddening!
Also, the adds spawn at all different times adding to the mess.
On top of that, the Affix Nameplate Bloat is absolutely ridiculous. The cognitive load of trying to manage all these adds while focusing on mechanics is brutal. It’s just not fun.
Honestly, I’m at the point where I’d prefer no affixes at all. This is painful to deal with, and I’m definitely skipping this affix whenever it comes around. There’s no way I’m dealing with this all season.
Anyone else feel the same?

Another affix dud from Blizzard. Not happy about this one. It’s gotta go!
Ive run maybe 6 M+ across my characters.
Out of all the affix spawns, maybe less than 4 times have they been inconvenient.
Easy as heck to handle on my mistweaver. I just tell the group to save aoe stuns for trash, leg sweep and ring are up for all the orbs

just spawn less orbs and dont scatter them so damned much…thats all that needs to be fisxed

Idk I love this affix. It isn’t overly obtrusive and requires people to do a mechanic and every class is capable of contributing. Never had an instance where one was in a LOS instance in the dungeons I’ve done so far. Never had an ability not hit them. Never had them spawn at different times. They all spawn in in a split wave it seems. Half down. then another half.

Last boss of Siege of Boralas, they spawn under the water out of line of sight, and the boss gets the buff.
Nope. Someone usually knocks them all out in one attack or each party member takes out a couple.

It’s okay to say that doing +3’s, but at higher levels, you miss it due to poor placement, movement or miscommunication, it’s a wipe.
Sounds like its working as intended… People are clearing 11’s already its all very doable. Just a learning curve, but being 2 days into the season and having not even run all the dungeons seems like a kneejerk reaction to call for nerfs on this, and in other threads.
Play more, get used to fights, get more gear. Upgrade gear.

Haven’t had a problem with it so far running 9s for gear, and when we get to high keys it won’t be there anyway.

The bargains are removed at key level 13~ and swapped out for just more damage / health scaling.

from the sounds of it. Affixes could get out of hand (sheer numbers) in very high keys.
The only thing hard about this mechanic is finding people intelligent enough to CC the adds. It’s honestly hilariously easy to manage and if you can’t you just bad at the game

Pop ring of peace in the area they are spawning in and most of the time you get all the orbs. Sometimes you might need to smack that one orb that was missed but easy nuff and basically a free buff.
Honestly I really like this affix. Granted, I have Shadowfury, Fear, Death Coil, etc. We also almost always have a Monk and my bro is a DH tank so they’re fairly easy to deal with. I much prefer this over, “Boss health BEEG. Hit hard now.”
Add me to the list of players who thinks it’s just fine and sometimes comes up super clutch with that haste buff.
I’ve only seen a couple of issues. We had it spawn on the player who was sent down on NW last boss, but boss didn’t get buffed so it wasn’t problematic.
I like it, rather than ruining bosses it feels amazing when it pops up right before you are about to pop off.
