We never got a reply, there’s a new change and the army farm was kill, It feels good and bad, I won’t waste 4-5 hours per day doing runs but it’s still pure RNG even with the increase % per day attempt, I’ll bet there’s going to be some players missing the mount for 2-5 more years after farming it already for 10+ years…and probably, I’ll be one

I am personally looking forward to how this works out. One thing that I like, is that it disincentivizes you to run multiple characters through the event, unless you have multiple battle.net accounts, which I know that some do.
I am also still skeptical that the increased probability will be significant, though, since we won’t be able to see the numbers each time you run it. You could get an extra 1% per day, but until you get to 100%, there will still be people with such bad luck that it will not drop.

I’m very much looking forward to only doing this once per day next February. I did the event every day on 16 characters this year. I wasn’t going to but then 2 guildies got the rocket on alt kills.
Maybe my time will come in 2025. Only time will tell

This is a terrible change, once again blizzard did exactly what I thought they would when we cried and begged for fixes for their horrible RNG on limited holiday items.
So now I am being punished for having alts.
Rather than put the items on a vendor, or even have rolling bad luck protection on alt attempts.
It should have been every attempt gains the increased % chance of the drop, then it would feel like my alt army farm is actually working towards something.
This just removes any sense of being able to try and doubles down on it being an RNG problem once again.
And this is coming from someone with thousands and thousands of attempts on the love rocket, a mount i really wanted and have tried extremely hard for.
Now all my alts which i made specifically for this purpose are wasted, my chances no better than tommy two tries who “didn’t even know the mount existed”.
This doesn’t solve any problem, it just makes it much much much worse, and any sliver of a chance at the love rocket I may have had is down the drain thanks to this change.
Blizzard, RNG on holiday items =NO. Locking it to once a day is STILL RNG…

I would argue that you’ve been punished for that the whole time and can now finally rest. Because obviously having an alt army didn’t automatically give you the rewards, therefore you weren’t really rewarded for all these ridiculous efforts.
I think you should be glad that you don’t have to waste “thousands and thousands” attempts and countless hours anymore without anything to show for, but can rather steadily highten the chances of getting the desired stuff.
I think the changes are a big step into the right direction, BLP should’ve already been implemented years ago. It doesn’t make it much worse, but objectively better when the progress in getting the mount is actually saved and the chance gets higher over time.
Not sure how it’s panning out for everyone else, but I got the manuscript on my very first run this year. Got the Deathfrost illusion on the next character, just to see what I could still get on alts. Subsequent alts only got the snowballs and burning blossoms. Day two, first run got me a cloak.
Aiming for the scythe now, but not sure if it is affected by the BLP, or if it just drops as normal. Wowhead seems to think it has a 5% drop rate from the purple satchel, and a 3% drop rate from the blue satchel.

It’s broken many hearts from the horrible drop rate and for those that still can’t get it despite the new “increased drop rate”. Last February with only a few days left I unsubbed and put the reason as the horrible drop rate for the event. On the last day of the even on my unsubbed account I got the love rocket. I’m sure my unsubbed account had something to do with my getting the mount
I still refuse to call it the Heartbreaker mount…its the Love Rocket too me forever…and yes I have it got mine few years back…
