Your chance goes up each consecutive day you run it. I would just run it once a day.

Then why does this tool tip show on the heart shaped box in dungeon que box…its word for word now…This is what is messing with players heads now…read the tool tip now it says this “Contains Love Tokens with a chance of other prizes. The first of these earned by your Warband each day has a chance to include rare rewards”
Now tell me that is not a messed up bunch of words word salad now…

That is not the whole tool tip now …the line before the warband part says "Contains Love Tokens with a chance of other prizes. " Prizes like a mount or other stuff…
It’s pretty clear to me, I’m just trying to save you time if you’re farming the mount.
You have a zero percent drop chance after your first run each day.

That is not what others are saying now…they are saying the drop rate will be lower but still a chance after your first run …and you run alts you still have a chance at the new mount or the Love Rocket…

From what I’ve read, and the tooltip wording you shared with me, I personally would ignore those people.
You are more than welcome to run as many alts a day as you’d like. I wish you luck.

The issue is that post is about summer boss, they never clarified if this systems works for every holiday…
Blizzard should edit the 2024 update from a random news article most people haven’t read into the OP of this thread since a lot of people are likely mislead by it.
I’ll also mention in this one that reward chests that have a warband restriction should change to green quality after you’ve done them once per day/week/whatever and are no longer eligible for better rewards. A change in quality color is a much better visual indicator in-game.
They should also use this on weekly event reward boxes if those are impacted by a warband restriction.

because they’re reading the blue post from two years ago, not the tooltip from today.
this is why people get confused. it’s not a blizzard problem, unless you want to argue they should have locked this thread.

I only found that for the new mount, nothing about how the X-45 works, if it continues with 2023 changes or if it works like summer boss drops.

The 2024 news article states the change is for all holiday events generally so I think the 2024 system is how ANY holiday rare drop works now including the rocket. This blue post is just outdated now and superseded by the 2024 announcement (and the new in-game tooltip).

I just want them to change the purple box to a green/blue one if you already did your only attempt, its still confusing since there’s still doubts if you can get it in other attempts for the same day.
