WW still exists too blizzard

There is a lot to be desired with WW, but it seems we get radio silence on any feedback for the spec.
It seems everyone is getting newer or older better versions of their specs (all classes not just monk) while we are still sitting in basically bfa/slands monks, the worst versions of ourselves.

It makes zero sense just how many filler nodes we have that should be baked into each other in some ways and just doesn’t make sense they were there at all.

Some kind of communication with us would be much appreciated.

PS: why did we as a class get the least impactful capstones in the game?

We are so far behind on monks its painful. I mained them for their aoe, and we no longer come close to leading that.

I gave blizzard 1 more month because they’re doing a redesign for ret and I hope they have some actual qol changes coming for ww too (not just flat % increases).
We need actual changes not bandaids.

Ret just wasn’t presence in world first mythic kills because of their utility… their DPS is broken strong at this point and was good before rework./

It would be helpful if there was some kind of a roadmap. Blizzard seems to want to adjust several classes well and that’s perfectly fine. They finally implemented true talent trees again but it will take time to fix them all.

I believe (and hope) that monks will be soon a focus like palas and druids right now.
Blizzard does read feedbacks but they don’t properly show it with posts which is probably one of the most frustrating thing for many people. “Please hang on, we need time to get through all classes/specs. We know there are many feedbacks and improvement ideas but we can’t work on them all at once”. Something like that would probably bring some peace in people’s minds.

Until then we can provide in the class forums constructive threads and posts, making it easier to make changes for Blizzard.

Minor changes are already done if they get properly mentioned. For example Skyreach - Choice Node.

When the monk’s time comes, there sure will be some (or many) good ideas from the forum seen in this class.
At least that’s what I believe.

I came back to dragonflight for the soul purpose of Strike of the Windlord talent. It was absolute godmode back in legion and I was so excited that it came back.

Turns out it wasn’t as strong as I remembered it to be and my favorite ability WDP is completely gutted and i’m forced to take this clunky gimmicky TOD that I feel yucky just pressing the button.

so close to rerolling another class cause blizzard doesnt care to rework or make windwalker feel less clunky it has same issues as the ret pally and still no word from anyone whatso ever…

have you heard about Mistweaver monks? You guys are fine lol

And they’ve been receiving attention quite often in the last several hot fixes and patches, but mw has nothing to do with ww

sadly, its still bottom of the charts. Until it is addressed with a rework, it will remain bottom of the charts

And yet they are still getting attention aren’t they

Attention isnt always a good thing, Pushing something further into a hole is not the same as leaving something that is working for most people and under performing for others

Yeah and ww been under performing for several xpacs now, your point?

Like if you want to talk about mw the majority of threads here are mw related

Even at it’s peak it wasn’t topping any carts

Also sat bottom of every raid. I had 99 parses on fights and was being beat out by people barely doing 60 parses.

Was heavily reliant on procs for majority of it’s damage and was still not topping charts

Currently botton of the barrel and is being heavily propped up in m+ due to ToD overdesign

2nd last, this was also in 7.0.5 when the Strike of the windlord wasnt buffed yet.

If anything you could say that its a player related skill outside of the 3 really bad logs which were shown to improve in later patches.

You can look at every single one of those and see how they did on individual bosses, and the really heavy aoe fights carried them through while they were middle rung or bottom of st fights.

Several of those in legion and bfa both suffered the same problem, the longer the boss took to die from the last touch of death explosion the worse the overall dps was.

Fights like Imonar we did well because we were the few that didn’t have dots ticking as he went down the bridge taking out everyone’s dps because it was ticking into 99% reduc.

Edit

Also several of those have specs lower than ww, but also have specs greatly stronger too.

Some like draz only dk was under monk, but all the other dps had specs above ww.

Like out of context looks better than what it was

FUN FACT about fists of fury and the “aoe” fights, Fists of Fury does AoE damage and does not subtract from more or less targets.

In 7.0.5 they changed fists of fury to do 100% full damage to the primary target.

In 9.1? i think, they made it so that fists of fury will now pick a new target once it kills the current target to be “primary”

There is no excuse for single target vs aoe target fights.

Logs are logs and if your class is performing its job correctly and you are not, its on you.

Blizzard cant make 1 class just obliterate aoe and single target, that would be considered “OP” and result in other people crying … better to have 1 class complain vs the other 11

So glad I know now you’re not reading, so this has become a waste of my time. Good luck
