Hey, what talents and essences are everyone using in solo visions?
I’m running C&S Major for the heal but would I be better off running kamehameha beam of death to kill stuff quicker and just pick up the orbs after? What builds are you guys finding luck with?
Don’t use that. I tried using it and got stunned, or grabbed by the totems in Orgrimmar, which completely wasted the cast. If you want an AoE, use Purification Protocol. There are plenty of aberrations in there.
I was using the talents and essences I currently have equipped, with just a change in my gear.
I’m using purification protocol major essence for the 50% damage against aberrations and it can 1 shot non elites. Vision of perfection minor for reduced CD on clones, conflict and strife minor for vers buff and breath of the dying minor for corruption resistance and damage. If you only have three essence slots I’d drop conflict or vision for the corruption essence.
First I will say I highly highly recommend not going solo. Solo is so much more difficult than running with 1-4 decent players imo.
But for me what’s worked the best is conflict and my m+ talent set up. I’m fairly geared so don’t have to do vivfy often or anything like that. I pull quite large and aoe down.

Really? It seems super easy to solo as ww. Granted, still need to do my visions this week, but had no problems soloing to rank 6 last week.
From my experience I can push more objectives with more players, and have Much larger room for error. For instance if you are low on sanity and get into combat a player out of combat can drop the orb to heal you up.
I’ve done every vision besides my first few on 3 characters with 2-3 and it’s remarkably easier especially with the sanity share buff
My DH that is about 20 ilvls below my WW monk can full clear at rank 7 verse my monk barely doing two extras and boss. Both have low essences though because I skipped pretty much all 8.2.
Noticed the same after pushing both to 7. DH is way easier. Might have to start running the monk in a group
Or just with 1 DH to leach off of
I haven’t had an issue doing these solo. So idk 
Still 3 chesting ez every time, but pushing for mask runs solo will eventually become much more difficult than on the DH
Will get easier as the patch progresses with more gear, higher cloak rank, and more titan research.
Just ran the one for rank 8 today on rogue (outlaw) , monk (ww), druid (feral) and dk (UH). Ww was the most touch and go, mostly having to do with having to do every encounter and then little self healing compared to UH. I shelved my DH but I know it would be easy peasy.
Talentsnon WW I use more or less the same as you, I do use Xu’en though and I’m still using the mechagon trinket to combo with touch of death (this can chunk elites quite well) I am using the purification protocol as major- the insta kill is random but nice. What is nice however is the stun. Such a lifesaver.
I forget what I’m using for minors, probably should redo them.

Visions are very simple as a solo WW monk. Take Good Karma, and use Conflict and Strife. I combine this with:
Eye of the Tiger
Tiger’s Lust
Ascension
Good Karma
Diffuse Magic (also works to negate eyeball damage)
Hit Combo
WDP
I like ring for the extra “kick” I can do.
You mean the eyes that drain sanity?
No, The Eye of Corruption from your corruption level.
I currently run 38 corruption, and when your cape is on CD, you can use DM to negate the damage if you can’t/don’t want to move out of the eye’s radius.
