So now that prepatch has dropped and we’re sifting through the ashes, can we address/fix our PvP talents? They were largely uninspired, and now they’ve been altered even more and are significantly weaker. So let’s fix that.
Pressure Points:
Lets start off with the big “wtf” because honestly, wtf. In what arena world was Pressure Points so oppressive that it deserved to be ripped to pieces? Just revert it to its BfA version, and people will still rarely use it instead of not using it at all. And while we’re at it, can we fix ToD’s health % registration on enemy targets?
Reverse Harm:
I get that it had to be altered because Expel Harm was made baseline, but I have no idea why the new effect does not accomplish the old effect. To correct this, let’s just add three lines of text. “Reduces the cooldown of Expel Harm by 5 seconds, and you deal 100% of the amount healed as nature damage to the closest enemy within 8 yards. Cost increased by 25 Energy.”
Tigereye Brew: (2 options)
Changing the text to
“Consumes up to 10 stacks of Tigereye Brew to empower your physical abilities with wind for 2 sec per stack consumed. Damage of your attacks are reduced, but bypass armor, dodge, and parry.”
OR
“Consumes up to 10 stacks of Tigereye Brew to empower your physical abilities with wind for 2 sec per stack consumed. Your attacks bypass armor.”
Ride the Wind:
Just gonna let Roll clear snares too in addition to its current effect.
And there. Some of prepatch is undone, and WW’s PvP talents are stronger and more competitive with each other.
