WW or Arms for Boomer w Slow Reflexes

I love fisting, but Arms seems more geared towards bad players with slow reflexes and room temp IQs like myself. Should I make the swap?

Someone got rekt by a warrior huh?

Not even, WW is just too hard for me.

Do it . Shadowland as a whole is not balanced.

Been gearing an alt WW and i get what you’re saying. War is way more chill imo

WW is like woah buddy don’t repeat abilities! Don’t roll past targets! Can’t use X until Y and Z are on CD! :sob:

Arms is like zug zug ha you’re stuck in root circle watch me spin to win

Your gear does basically suck though, and WW is extremely fragile, so you probably just melt to random cleave at the moment. That is likely skewing your view a bit, but yeah warrior would still be easier on a fundamental level

Windwalker monks are the epitome of a high reflex play. They are an advanced class choice reserved for only fastest and most coordinated of players. Imagine if a young Bruce Lee were alive today and wanted to become an elite WoW Arena player instead of martial artist? What class would he pick? Obviously he’d play WW Monk.

As an aging boomer I’d highly recommend you stick to warrior. Unholy DK isn’t bad either, its popular with bad players and people with 1000 MS ping from Brazil.

Paladin is definitely the easiest melee spec to get great value from if that’s what you are looking for. Surviving is easy and doesnt require reflexes and the burst is easy to execute. Spam word of glory to keep yourself up. Anything your can’t word of glory through you pop one of your shields and press wings whenever it’s up to kill something. Basically run in pop wings, nothing died? Ok word of glory till wings is back up and try again. It’s simple. It’s easy to execute. And you will be able to handle most mid level players and comps. I feel like it’s harder to play a decent warrior.

Definitely not WW. I’m entering boomer status and WW has taken a very long time to adjust to. They get popped like zits and you have to be extremely careful or you could get 100 to 0 really fast.

Looks like I’ll be going Arms warrior and just sitting in d stance :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Why not Ret pally or Frost DK? Human male rets are as boomy as it gets and frost dks are pretty boomer too. I’d recommend DH but I imagine most of them are sweaty 20 year old nerdragers

You still gotta have some fast reactions when it comes to intervene and spell reflect. Try DH or DK

:face_vomiting:

Boomers shouldn’t set their expectations too high. No room to be picky

I’m doing the same thing and I feel you. After playing DK monk feels so squishy. The first time I tried to aoe a pack like I do on my main I got quite the surprise.

You can’t just brainlessly sit d stance or you will do crap dmg and part of being a war is keeping the pressure up. You also need to know when to intervene, when to reflect, when to disarm, when to fear etc. War is not just about zug zug dmg, you are there to enable your team as well.

Idk WW is pretty brain dead. Just cast tiger and watch it do 1/3rd of your damage in 3’s. Thats all it ever is. Blow all the CDs and hope you kill something before karma is done.

Well, warrior is overall stronger but not a lot easier if you take all the support abilities into concern. On the other hand it’s harder to mess up things and you aren’t so forced into clean setups.

If tiger palm is 1/3 of your damage, you are a perfect example of why he wants to switch. You should consider too.

For your information: Tiger palm is usually around 1/20 of your damage!

He meant the kitty cat you silly goose
