WW Monk Spiral Weave Eggs

I feel rather stupid asking this, but I cannot find a solution. Doing Spiral Weave on 8+, the one with the web spreader eggs, I cannot find anything in my WW monk arsenal to zap the eggs to reduce the web real estate. It isn’t a big issue until I get to the boss, and then it is a major PITA. I figure there is something simple that I am just missing.

Crackling Jade Lighting does not work. I get the egg down to 1 hp, but the web remains. If I get close enough to the egg to hit it with an attack, I’ve already stepped in the webs and spawned more bad guys, even with SEF spirits.

Just thought of trying Invoke Xuen with an egg focus. Anyone tried that?

Any thoughts?

I go with spinning roll kick but it still sometimes decides to spawn an add

Also if you don’t know what spinning roll kick is because I made it up, it’s starting a spinning crane kick then rolling forward while it’s still channeling
