Hi all, i really need some help here as im abit confused.
There are three classes i really like rogue, dh, and monk.
Everyweek ive been keeping an eye out to see whats going on with each class. Trying to figure out which to main come 10.2
Have leveled each of them and got them to around 430.
And while on the ptr i see alot going on with rogue and dh changes, im not seeing much for ww monk at all.
Is that because they have already got their changes, or those will come in a later date/patch, or they are playing and preforming as intended?
Just wondering as i sit down and brain storm of who to main and play.
As a side note: I like to do pve, and alittle open world pvp. I like to try to play specs with abit of burst, i thought the ww monk had that but im being told so many different things its hard to figure out.

Monks were meta for about a patch and a half out of the last two expansions: Sanctum of Domination with Venthyr; and two weeks in Ny’alotha before the fun police arrived.

Right now Rogues and DHs are getting medium to large reworks currently. Very few classes are getting the amount of changes they are this PTR cycle.

Yeah, im very new to monk. So thank you for the info 
I will be maining monk next tier myself. Recently got the Mage tower done, leveled to 423, and am set with some cash and professions.
My personal reasons go into why i want to main monk, is that they have all 3 core specs available to them; DPS, Tank, Healer. I have wanted to play a class that has all 3 mainly due to priest getting boring. all 3 are casters with 2 of them being healers…doesnt give a lot of difference.
Monk is generally an underdog class that can bring so much, as long as the person knows how to play lol.
Ooo do you get anything cool from the mage tower anymore, i missed out on getting the tower appearances for the monk, as i didnt play one at the time ( got them for the pally, rogue, dk, dh)
So that was a bit of a bummer, but do they have more stuff you can earn or just there to test yourself there now.
maining monk. only class that keeps me around long term besides warrior and dk, and i played too much of both s1.
How is ww with single target burst are they pretty good ?
So far they seem pretty good. I havent tryed the TOD build yet, but so far ww has been fun.
will never play tod build again. single target burst seems quite good in keys/raid
That’s pretty much par for the course for WW. We’re good when something first starts, we get heavily nerfed, then limp along until they buff a few abilities. Then it’s rinse/repeat.

Back in legion, you were able to get artifact weapon appearances for completing each spec. Now, it’s just a recolor of a legion raid transmog…Still very cool, but still challenging. I would recommend if you’re pursuing one, do the WW challenge, easier of the 3.
