WW monk can't get into any groups?

I have spent the last 2 days trying to get into mythic plus groups and RBG groups but no one will take me.

I have 212 ilvl so my gear is good, I’m 1600 in 2’s looking for 1500 rbg groups no one will take me. I have +10 and +11 records on raider io but no mythic+ groups will take me for +10. Whats the deal? Are people just not taking wind walkers?

Nah. Any class can get into groups.

Having a 10 or 11 timed doesn’t necessarily mean insta invite. What’s your io?

Also you are a dps class. We are everywhere. There is no shortage on dps and you are que’ing with many other dps classes.

range rules all mmos and most definately wow.

all the mechanics fpr pve are overwhelmingly against melee and very much so favor rdps.

we melees are in a state of constant repositioning and lose reported dps because of this.

on the other hand, rdps passes the grey poupon to each other while under the protective grace of range.

if your not a streamer, dont have the same group of people that u mythiced with before for a decade, then you re out of luck.

This is very apparent in mythic +. Last boss of DoS especially. Makes me wish they’d just send the dps to the side portals right away and let the hunter deal with muehzala.

Cudgelfist and Shriek too. It’s all the run to LoS stuff that gets me as well as my weak peripheral vision requiring me to zoom out or periodically move.

Then you have tanks kiting out of necessity.

Shouldn’t be an issue for a monk to get into m+ groups. Rbg’s depends on what the leader wants. Warriors and dk’s are ahead of us as they can tc

they all want ranged because it makes for easier runs and more slack for mistakes

Yeah if anything its probably a ranged issue bro on specific weeks/dungeons.

In pvp you shouldn’t have any issues bro. Just keep trying. Or fk it, start your own group by yourself or with some friends. Just title it as a yolo low cr group and you’ll be fisting in no time my mans (:

More than likely. for starters they always look for a mage or hunter for lust. Also they tend to take 2 ranged to overcome the affixes and items that need to be dodged. Then they have likely 1 melee in the group and with so much dps makes it hard to get in. However, if you want a good strat if you can either play very early in the morning when nobody else is on you can get groups faster or play late at night like 12:00 a.m. or 1:00 am. which is easier to get in as dps.

I have a similar gripe raiding as WW. My dps is lower on the meters than it really is in actuality. This due to having to constantly move and start / stop dps. If I could just pump I would have a constant 5-5.5k dps with bursts in the 7-8k range but on the meters after moving 30% of the fight I’ll only look like i am capable of about 3.3-3.7k dps, it’s frustrating. I would love 2-3 fights outta 10 where melee can just patchwerk style it and ranged has to run around all crazy the whole fight
