WW helm corruption

wowhead says void ritual is supposed to be a fair bit better than everything else but when i sim them all echoing void is the winner.

infinite stars, gushing wounds, and even twilight dev sim better than void ritual on me rn somehow.

which one do you use?

All my guides say that Void Ritual is best because Echoing Void oversims a lot and the others all have drawbacks. Infinite Stars and Gushing Wounds are pure single target, so if you care about M+ at all then those aren’t your choice. Twilight Devastation can be better but you’re at the mercy of the RNG gods more than any other corruption.

I sometimes change my helm enchant to fit the content.

Like sometimes I switch helm enchant based on the dungeon. I play mostly MW (healer) though so grain of salt. In rookery i like to run gushing wound cause the bosses are awful. But in like floodgate or dfc with rot checks void ritual only. In cbm or motherlode or somewhere with a ton of ads I’ve run devestation. In ToP (mostly cleave) maybe falling stars, gushing wound, devestation, any of them are fine.

My main issue with void ritual on monk is that because I don’t (as far as I know) have any control over when it procs it just basically never lines up with my cd windows and so most of the time I’m not seeing the supposed benefit of it at play nor can I predict when or how often it will happen so I’m not saving my cds for it. Like that will proc when I’m just doing rotation stuff and be gone by the time there’s anything else I can do.

I haven’t tested twisted appendage yet but I want to in 8 mask sw next week. So far Gushing Wound, Devestation, and Ritual seem to be the best. Wound for single target, devestation for aoe, ritual for things that take forever. Since I have no control over when or how often they proc I don’t feel like it matters that much though
