But that’s how you balance a game. Balancing around the bottom tiers leads to horrible high tier games. A class being godly in duels doesn’t mean it’s good in the gamemode that matters (3s).

What comp that has HISTORICALLY been ran as WW other than TWD. Don’t pull some stupid “WW/melee/healer comp” out of your butt because of SL’s awful balancing. Give me a comp that WW has always ran other than TWD.

Why are you discussing anything but the current season? WW are fine in SL, which you admit has awful balancing, because historically they were not good?
It’s like arguing WW should be OP now because not a SINGLE arena team in the ENTIRE WORLD used a WW for 5 years from January 2007 to September 2012.

WW/Lock, WW/Mage, WW/DH, and WW/SPriest have been competitive in past seasons. WW/Arms is arguably the best melee cleave in the game atm with WW/Ret and TWD not being far behind. We also work well with every caster dps in the game right now.
he is using the same argument is different threads. he is fried, don’t worry. WW has, both currently and historically, had many comps outside of TWD they can succeed with.

Considering TWD has been the most known and one I see 99% of anyone who streamed WW play in current and past seasons then yeah. Sure WW now is viable with about anything cause just about anything is really good. Regardless, arms is still the most broken melee currently and last I checked made up 10% of the ladder alone in the top 200.
Edit: and I am NOT a top tier pvper so I don’t speak from experience, just what I read and watch when the pros/high pushers stream. Just seems everyone is quick to point fingers in SL and wanting nerfs will just end up giving us a dampening meta again

WW has, AND HAS ALWAYS HAD, multiple comps that are viable. Yes, TWD is probably the most popular, but that doesn’t mean it’s the only one you can run, and the only one that’s worth putting effort into.
And saying “Arms is broken so WW doesn’t need any nerfs” is a really bad argument. WW could 10000% have some damage nerfed, and their defensives upgraded a slight bit. Just because one class is unbalanced, doesn’t mean that all classes can’t be tuned in the meantime.

If majority of the PROS and TOP streamers are playing ONE specific comp it’s a good ASSUMPTION that it’s strong. Again, I edited my post that stated most of my info is from what I watch the actual good pvpers play. And again ppl complaining and pointing fingers is just gonna cause blizzards hammer fingers to go nerf crazy and we have some boring RMX meta or dampening meta

Convoke is very RNG feeling. I’ve had Convoke practically instantly kill me from stealth and times where it went on for way too long without being stopped and I don’t even notice the damage. It’s weird

Pretty sure you can pair WW with any class and hit gladiator no lie regardless of how good or bad its doing and it seems to be actually amazing regardless of what covenant you choose. Everyone is really sleeping on that bonedust brew or w/e it is holy sh*t it pumps.
