Wuffi pet butt dragging?

Why does a mechanical pet drag its butt on the ground like the pugs? Butt dragging is a sign of worms in a dog and a robot does not get worms… Just give it different animations. Even Marmaduke’s animations would be better.

(always thought the butt dragging was gross anyways)

Not always. Oftentimes it can be due to the glands in that area needing to be expressed.

But I do agree, limiting those animations would be nice.

Robots don’t have glands either XD

Interestingly lots of links if you Google “dog butt dragging” (polite term BTW is Dog Scooting). As AI is being increasingly incorporated into Robotics, possible that part of a robots training nowadays involves being exposed to huge number of hours exploring the internet to appear as lifelike as possible to assure us humans are more comfortable with them. Maybe Wuffi is the new robotic breed.

I won’t use a pet that drags its butt across the floor. Gross. I wish I could use perky pug, it’s cute. I wouldn’t have spent my tendies on Wuffie if I knew he did this.

Since Wuffie’s bottom is metal, it’s less “gross” and more “spark generation hazard”.

Maybe it just has an itch.

Aww, that’s no fun. You’re missing out on the fire trail that the Molten Corgi leaves behind.

As for Wuffi - he’s building up static electricity to recharge his batteries…

It would be nice if some doggo pets in the future would lack the butt dragging animation. If we ever get a boarder collie battle pet, I 100% hope it won’t have that as an idle animation.
