What I don’t understand is why being rare makes it desirable.
An ultra-rare ugly red cylinder is still an ugly red cylinder and you won’t catch me dead with one of those on my head.

so with level scaling, doesn’t the value of this item go down since it would in theory be easier to get since you can essentially force uldaman to be in the correct level range for all of its rare items to drop?
Maybe I’m just not understanding how scaling effects drops, but if these items are supposed to only drop off of level 40+ mobs, which are few and far between in uldaman, doesn’t having the dungeon scale to your level ~45 toon make it so most mobs in the dungeon would have a chance to drop this, the miners hat, and whatever else is rare from there?

supposedly they can only drop off of level 40+ mobs (from what I’m reading on wowhead), so if your toons in the level 40 range then there should be more level 40 mobs for it to drop off of right?

1st: Class and Level does not matter. ( It dropped for me on a 101 Demonhunter about 1 month into 7.3.5 / It’s up on sylvanas AH )
3rd: Forced Personal loot. Just to mention this. These super rare items dropped to 0.1% and less… BUT this was when you looted loot worth 5 players. You now loot worth one player…

Alright, considering 7.3.5 made the dungeon where this item dropped scale with you, can we assume this item will only drop if you are at the correct level for this item to drop?

Like, it looks okay but that thing is worth millions of gold for its rarity and I just don’t see how. I’ve never once seen anyone wearing it, and spending that much gold on something currently obtainable and in-game instead of TCG is just an alien concept to me…
