First off all, why are there like 60 recipes when people will only ever use 5?
2nd. What is the point of hearty feasts? Oh they are warband, big deal. It costs hundreds worth of gold to make 1, if not more. Youre better off just sending the mats to your alt.
Why the hell does every recipe need like 100 ingredients? These arent feasts for a kings banquet. I get 3 meals out of them, maybe.
Someone explain the egg recipes to me. They are locked behind a vendor with a zone specific currency, the BASIC INGREDIENTS also require said currency, you need dozens of them, and the food items they produce are trash?
Also, can we go back to just using meats and fish directly? Its kinda a PITA to have to convert them from raw to reagent, and having to figure out which fish i need to save and which are useless thats fine to convert, etc. etc.

I think this one profession that I’ll let other people do. I also don’t like the way food works now. With it now not buffing specific attributes but buffing a secondary stat depending on whether it’s the highest or lowest or whatever.
Just seems very strange.
Cooking is a disaster. Absolutely a disaster. Very disappointed in how poorly fishing fits into the profession. Why would you make the recipe that costs fish fillet when you can make the exact same stat food using a material that costs 10x less gold. Fishing will be dead from how poorly cooking was set up and it is really sad.
Edit: Hearty feasts, I believe, are actually good. A chef can lay one down in raid and now hen the raid wipes it persists through death. It’s also a way to consume more feasts keeping the price high.

Hearty Feasts might be worth using for progression if you’re wiping 10+ times an hour. Outside of that there’s no reason to do it.
