Hello? Classic PvP server launches, I’m level 34 now, still no pvp in the game yet…Apparently they want us to skip every bracket and just PvE to 60 on a pvp server…Killing a player yields nothing still… what’s the point of waiting a month to pvp on a pvp server… I log on and its 100% only PvE available, on a pvp server, for what reason? This is so dumb waiting for pvp to come out, there are pve servers for this.

WPvP still exists. But Battlegrounds and the Ranking system don’t come into effect until Phase 2.

There is no wpvp, as I stated killing a player yields nothing.
Yes, there is WPvP. If you enter a contested zone you will automatically flag and other faction can attack you.
There’s just no Honour/Ranking system until P2.

Thats not wpvp, it’s literally just enablinng us to hit eachother for no reason at all. Phase 1 on a pvp server is sucha joke, its a pve server until your 60

It’s literally not. The definition of a PvP server is where entering Contested or Enemy territory automatically flags you. This is disabled on a PvE server.
You can still WPvP. You just don’t gain any Honour rewards yet.
Anyway, it’s the not like the occasional WPvP kill at level 34 is going to significantly impact your ranking journey.

Isn’t it true to vanilla, where BGs and Honour weren’t in the game at launch?
It also disincentives super sweaty behavour of people rushing to 60 to grind honour, and rations out content.
And again, the Honour from random levelling WPvP kills is insubstantial, anyway.

I love how they make things insubstantial in pvp as usual, howbout going the other way with it and make it worth it, they are dropping the ball with pvp in every way, retail included

Not being rude here, but there are pve servers, rp servers for fun… then there are these “pvp” server that don’t have pvp in them
They do have pvp in it all over the place. Go checkout STV. They just don’t reward points money in return.

0 incentives to pvp on a pvp server is driving me nuts, I’ll just wait untill pvp comes out to play I guess

Not even, I truly want to que for a BG, and If BG’s arent out, the way I should be able to prep for them is by killing players and getting points, but they didn’t even let us have that for phase 1 like why?

You can kill all the players you want.
By the way, in Vanilla it was like 5 months before the pvp system was implemented and 7 months before bgs. Somehow the game survived.
