Price crashes on high value items are typically indicative of a dupe or exploit allowing for the spontaneous or near spontaneous creation of a massive amount of them.

DME, some classes can solo now.
This. price of major mana pots should be cheap now too cause of the DME/DMN solo farms by hunter bots.

The pots drop from tribute chest. Typically they’re not profitable to craft when enough get farmed that way.
The crazy undercut is because Microsoft wanted to put everyone on a Megaserver. The person who undercut you is already undercut 10 times as well.
And I’ve noticed because of this, the prices drop at night/morning, and raise back up when people are online (afternoons).

Dme is going through a bot plague, and they’re over farming the rich thorium at the end.
Probably a handful of bank alts that got them cheap.
you can find their base line (after which they make a loss)
with a few auctions. If you’re happy to sell at that put stacks, or that’s what they have been waiting for, and flip them.

Firstly, to crash the price of crystals THAT hard, theyd need to have already gotten a statistically improbable number of them. Remember, its a 3% chance.
Secondly in number but not in importance: bots work the commodities markets by controlling supply. Careful release and pricing regulation is how they work. It flies directly in the face of how they work to flood the market. It crashes their profit potential. They know their primary customers are the same people buying gold from them, the idea is to retrieve as much of that gold as they can per transaction so they can sell it right back to the gold sellers.
This is unchecked dumping. Which is the hallmark of illicit mass production. Ive seen it multiple times across multiple games all the way back to D2 with SoJs. Its like a fingerprint.
If you are truly seeing them for 10g buy them asap. As you saw with boons blizzard will let you keep them and if it truly is because of an exploit the price will be corrected and you can make some fat profit.

the price has definitely dropped on major mana pots, but that’s probably more to do with organic activity than bots.

DM release crashes arcane crystal price exactly like this every single time. Doesnt matter if its pserver or classic this ALWAYS happens. What you’re saying might also coincidentally happen, but this is so expected that every fresh ive played i do mining to level eng and farm crystals then when DM release and crystal prices bottom out I go herb for BL farm. Its textbook happens every single time.
Trump’s bringing those prices down!
