What the hell happened to meaningful player choices?
It’s one thing to grind both dungeons and mythics for a week having received nothing but anima for our time and effort; but who the hell is itemizing the worthless garbage coming out of the great vault?
My highest choice has a combination of Crit/Versatility and no intellect; every other choice being a side grade that forces losing a preferred stat or secondary in favor of versatility… NONE of these choices are meaningful in advancing my character.
CRIT/Versatility is not even a key stat combination for any of our 3 specs… Versatility in general is a dump stat.
I could accept some RNG if we were getting loot through our day to day efforts… but opening the chest to get a kick in the junk… or a choice of stygia… oooh

Versatility is basically the PvP stat.
So week 2, you cannot make up how comically bad this system is.
My choices? Pants that I am already wearing; a ring with massive amounts of versatility, for a class that does not use it… this is out of the raid tab mind you… it would be one thing if it was from the PvP line.
And a helm. Now the helm would be decent if I were not already wearing a T4 legendary helm; so I keep it in the bags in case legendaries get rebalanced.
This does not change the fact… another week of getting no loot from “content” and your RNG crapshoot is utter trash.

My “choices,” were 220 crit mastery bracers, 216 crit mastery bracers, or 213 crit verse bracers.

Every class uses Versatility.

Versatility is a PvP stat. It’s unfortunate that you are receiving it as an option and for whatever reason I have PvP offerings from the vault that do not have it… yikes.
The great vault/weekly chest has been the same for almost 4 years. Did you honestly believe it will be different this week or even next week?
Week after week, on every tuesday it the same, 100 different threads about how bad it was, how the same item has droped over and over.
“meaningful choice” was just the buzzwords that GD and Reddit touted when talking about the covenants in regards to player power. it was never about what gear you get to choose in the great vault.
Versatility is not a PvP stat. It’s a stat. It works in both PvP and PvE.

Works for PvE, required for PvP. Let’s not devolve into semantics. The point here is why do PvP offerings exist that do not have it.

I would be soo happy if i got crit and vers chest but nop. Gor crit and haste 220 chest. Useless for now. At least got the belt i needed.

It’s not about disliking what you have said, it’s about you constantly posting redundant one liners that contribute nothing to the discussion. Then you attempt to oversimplify anything that’s said, or boil it down to statements like “nobody said you were entitled to upgrades”, or you suggest that someone is salty for even bothering to respond to you.
Your whole attitude is just an unsavory disaster that doesn’t facilitate any kind of constructive discussion. If your mind is made up on the topic, there’s no need for you to post at all. Is this for the attention?

It’s not semantics. It doesn’t just “work” in PvE, it’s literally on par if not better depending on class/spec than its 3 other partners, Crit/Haste/Mastery.
All PvP gear has versatility on it. What. I think a single cloak is Crit/Mastery and that’s optional, just don’t buy it.
I got the same belts and cloak choices this week that I got last week. #FeelsBadMan
