My computer blue screened. I started it back up then logged into wow to find all my settings have been reset. Basically, my WTF folder has been reset.
Is there some way to recover my WTF folder from before it was reset?
Only if you made a backup
It’s possible that there are backups inside the Saved Variables folders - they would be named *.bak. You could delete or rename the *.lua files, and remove the .bak from the other files and that might get you back .
I’m the OP. I ended up reverting from a backup I made back in April. Took a couple hours more setup after that. Have a new backup now. Crisis averted.
