everything looks a lot darker and shadowy to me now. Especially in Ardenweld.
Check your ui scale?

You might want to somehow get this post to the other people who have been affected by this patch.
This patch turned the UI scale off for me for some reason. Checking the box has resloved the issue for me now. TY VEl, you are a legend mate

Yeah but he added a pretty picture so that the mentally challenged like me can have a âlight bulbâ moment.
There is never a reason.
If you turn your shadow quailty down to âlowâ it all comes back to normal. Anything above low will mess it all up for some reason.
Dunno if anyone else mentioned it - but this is GD. You could try posting your issue on the Technical forum, where technical stuff goes. You will get more assistance there, including frequently from Blues.
Everything is fine for me. Only 2 of my addons imploded.
This. Theres a slider bar in the settings for the UI scale.
Booting up WoW after installing the update sent me flying out the window and into my neighborâs swimming pool. To make matters worse, they had a pet shark âŚwith a freakinâ laser beam attached to its head!

In my case, no matter what setting I adjust everything is midnight pitch black⌠unless brightness is turned up to the point that everything is BastionâŚ
This is not even a patch no new stuff but cosmetic and raids thats it and it took 9month =no way maybe 2 days max
oh myâŚhow can you play without antialiasing 
Funny thing is, Ardenweald IS in a state of perpetual midnight, but I did not want it THIS literally, câmon!!

I was trying to heat up some food earlier and my freaking microwave shorted out!
WTF Blizzard! My microwave worked fine for YEARS before this patch. Absolutely unacceptable.
