Hopefully someone here can advise me.
I just bought the SL expansion, started the initial campaign quest; Through the Shattered Sky, and now I’m stuck.
I place the first shard, get tethered to the helm, and nothing else ever happens.
I’ve read something about party sync, but I’m not in a party.
I’ve tried to abandon the quest, log out, exit game completely, nothing works.
So, here I just spent $60 for nothing?
Hoping someone here can tell me how to fix this.

it should have you drag like 4 pieces of shards and then the helm activates or something like that

Are you unable to move? You take each piece of the helm to one of the 4 corners of the platform. Look for whichever area is lit up.
Check to see if any other helm pieces are glowing slightly. You have to drag all of them to different spots at the edge of the circle while Bolvar gives a lecture.
Alternatively mouse over the remaining pieces until you see an interaction icon.
You get tethered because you need to drag each shard of the Helm of Domination to each rune. It’ll have a glowing yellow icon on where the current piece needs to go. You drag the tether near that piece, and click on it. Then go back to the Helm of Domination until all pieces are in place. Once done, you can click on the middle helm again and get ported to the Maw.
