I know it’s hard to believe, but some of us enjoy 2’s as our preferred ranked content. It’s nice not having to wait 20 minutes for queue’s sometimes. Would be cool if 1800+ wasn’t so damn sweaty.

it’s a super sweaty bracket, people riding in on glad mounts at 1950 is nuts. They really need to implement solo queue or team queue (not solo shuffle) into the game. It would revive both 2s and 3s

Lol elite in 2’s right now means you’re literally among the handful of top players in the entire country.
It is kinda weird how they buffed shuffle/3s to more closely match bgb, but didnt do it to 2s (or if they did, the participation is so low it doesnt matter)

Entirely BM hunters fault honestly.
I fought like 2 arms warriors and like 10+ BM/healer teams yesterday on my DH around 2k mmr. It’s brutal because it’s just every game.

The problem with 2’s is that it doesn’t have rewards and it’s not very diverse because balance around 2v2 isn’t great.
It has the same rewards as everything else barring the glad mount.

this has been the state of 2s since like mop tho (10+years) i’m not saying people 1950+ are glads, i’m saying there’s an abundance of people who can press the right buttons at the right time at that rating & a large % of that demographic have glad at this point
if you enjoy 2s queue wrath or cata, kinda cap to play 2s on retail IMO.

interestingly 2s participation fell off a cliff on cata classic after this change (mirroring retail live when the same happened in s7? s8? albeit in wotlk)
you can get 2s %duelist on cata but nothing higher. which is more than retail gave until bfa i guess.
rewards really are the be-all end-all. i capped out at like 2150 last season on cata in 2s and for the life of me couldn’t beat Dk-Ret as SPR so if anyone has insight i’d love to hear it
Kinda of rolled in with no glad mount there, but yeah sure.
You get the rest of the cosmetics which is all people care about 9/10 times, and it awards them all except the mount.

If you added those rewards to 2’s you would see participation sky rocket.
Everything functions at the top of the bracket at the moment, I see literally everything
Feral, DH, Survival, bm, ret, every healer, every rogue spec, every mage spec, every lock spec. Heck I even see every tank spec. 2s Has more variety this season than it has since I started pushing 2v2 in BFA
Admit you suck, and hit Q. I swear shuffle has poisoned everyone’s mind and if they don’t immediatly see elite they feel no reason to Q. No one actually cares to play to get better, they just jump to the mode that gives them the quickest 2400 and sit on it all season while simultaneously wondering why when the next season starts they can’t achiev the same rating

PS: Blizzard it’s 10+ weeks into the season and top 20 is barely cracking 2300. I’m facing and pulling games off the best players in the game and I don’t even get to wear the same tabard as the backpeddling hpal in blitz

There’s a lot of bad ones even at high ratings tho, not unwinnable just really hard
I think the most sleeper spec in the game is sin rogue. Has positive matchups into every spec in the game if you play it well (except maybe like frost mage?)
