Probably very little since everyone will be rushing into Live Strat and unable to PVP.
Double dip and sell the orbs too.
I’ll be more interested to see how much gold is actually floating around a new server in classic.

None, because it drops in WPL?
that’s one enchant I want to get, in original release I never got it. that and rivendares charger. both are on my list for this time around.

You are both correct, in vanilla it had two mobs that dropped it. One in WPL, and the other in EPL.
Did the mobs in tyr’s hand drop it in vanilla? comments from the time seem to make it sound like a new thing.
It won’t be that contested at first because most people won’t be 60, or will be in dungeons trying to gear. It gets worse as time goes on due to increasing numbers of 60s. Get it early if you want it.
Just watched a frostadamous vid about this stuff and crusader came up.
He said while some claimed it did, he couldn’t find any evidence of it. It could just be a private server thing.
I checked wowhead and the comments section only brings the tyr’s hand mobs in 2.0.3 and the people talking about them respond as it being a new thing to that patch.
Now imagine people jumping layers to farm it.

Dunno why’d they do that. Isn’t Tyr’s Hand full of elites anyway?
At some point they were all elites. Maybe it was available and no one ever farmed them enough to get it?
Or it was a rumor to keep people away from the known spots.

Huh, never knew that. Always helped enchanters farm that stupid tower in WPL with the ridiculouly low amount of mobs that dropped it.
I’m a vanilla player. Play since 2005 and was enchanter back then.
I got Crusader recipe from the elite mobs in Tyr’s Hand (EPL) many times. So yeah, it drops there.
If I remember well, you can get the recipe from other mobs, but the Tyr’s Hand elites are the ones with the best drop rate. They are elite but you can solo them at lvl 60. If 2 of them come, you might need to CC one of them.
If you can kill them fast enough and not lose much upcoming time, Tyr’s Hand is a nice spot for gold farming for your epic mount. You can sit there farming recipes and clothes from the mobs while looking for people to do Strath with you (and farm righteous orb from the dungeon, necessary for crusader enchant and expensive in AH).
It is also a favorite spot for rogues gankers in PvP servers, but it isn’t a big deal if you are a vanilla warrior and have rogues on your daily breakfast.

I keep seeing it called live strat. When I played it was human side. Was I in the minority?
Quite possibly. I always saw it as Live Strat and Dead Strat.
