since we’ve moved on from #nochanges and we’re kind of in a new space here, where bg mechanics are being adjusted to accommodate the modern player base:
why not add an option for solo queue only wsg?
currently only running full 10 man premade wsg. (or even worse the 9 man premade with a scout) then when we get prem v prem it will be a very long game. that or 1 hour + av queue. plus scouting, dodging, etc.
lets face it, this is gaming in 2020. all of this is going against “the spirit of classic” and a solo queue WSG i think would solve some of these issues. a by product of this is people might even have some FUN.
No good team ever AFKs out. If the game is taking too long as to be unprofitable Honor per Hour, you just stand aside and let them cap, maybe farm HKs for a little bit while waiting to end.
AFKing out automatically extends your HPH loss by 15 minutes minimum, so what’s the point?
Premades would compete in RBG’s, and everyone else would use the regular queue, including small groups of 2-5, which was what my friends and I would do for fun.
This was a great system. IMO RBG’s (or premade queuing) should have been in Vanilla, but it never was, so we won’t get it here. It’s function was also different (earn conquest points to buy gear). I guess if they were to add this, they could just up the honor reward slightly.
you’re assuming i asked for the av changes. i never wanted this update. also what im proposing benefits horde and alliance solo queuers equally. honestly my main being horde really has nothing to do with my suggestion. which isnt even an argument by the way. but i guess this is the forums i should just expect to get flamed.

you understand that these changes weren’t made by the horde. they were made by blizzard because they didn’t like the way people were playing their game.
Then don’t play if it isn’t fun. Back in my day, we didn’t complain about premades. We made our own premades and crushed everyone. Then they started queue sniping to make sure it wasn’t us.
If that isn’t winning the game, I don’t know what is. Go get some of those corpses in your goon squad and roll 10 deep son.
