WSG has been terrific lately, 4-5 minute queues for horde and lots of pugs

I think more pugs are starting to realize it’s safer to queue now. Getting lots of games with pugs versus pugs. Queues are shorter for horde so I assume alliance pugs are queuing significantly more often.

Yeah still get rolled 40% of the time by premades, but it’s not anywhere near as bad as it was the past 2 weeks.

Plenty of good games now.

Plenty is a stretch, getting rolled almost half the time still sucks, but yes, I agree, it has been better lately  Hopefully a sign of things to come

Yeah I just got 3 straight pug vs pug games, but that’s probably just luck even with the fix.

Still I think the queues coming down should be due to more alliance pugs and that’s really what was needed since I think alliance had a greater % of their players in premades before.

Nice!

The wsg rewards just dropped so maybe that’ll get more casters to participate. Unfortunately for warrs the pants haven’t dropped yet so there’s that.

Now that the WSG Queue Dodgers can’t pick and choose their battles, the matches are starting to be more even. It’s a good thing!

Yeah after I stopped ranking, I’ve been slowly grinding WSG rep for the epic bracers, but it’s been so slow getting rolled by premades most of the days.

Getting much better rep now with actual wins in some of these pug v pug games.

I havent faced a pug in 2 weeks of WSG, i havent jumped in because i figured pugs havent started queueing yet, might jump in when i log next.

I don’t think those come out till like AQ or Naxx… Cant remember…

I spammed wsg all December ignoring the av meta at the time. Got exalted by new years and man oh man am I thankful I got it over with back then. Now that wsg is the meta the battle is uphill against premades for sure. GL with the grind

Lies, you’re just trying to draw more solo players into queue. All I’ve seen lately are alliance premades.

I just got out of a pug v pug; I’m 5 for 7 on the day so far. Probably an anomaly, but I’ve just assumed more alliance pugs are queuing since the queue time is so short (4 minutes at the moment).

Any particular reason you don’t want to just join a premade yourself and crush 7m wins back to back?

Went from 0 Neutral to Exalted in a week just jumping into premades.

Only thing to note:
Tuesday/Wed fastest queues, hardest games due to all the rankers going hard.

Sunday/Monday slowest queues, easiest games due to all the best teams being capped, so you’ll mostly fight pugs and sh!t-mades. Very few helmetmades spotted by Monday.

Yeah that’s fair to point out, I’m having fun just pugging though. I’m not in a rush cuz I’m not really that interested in making an alt or anything else, so I don’t mind if the bracers grind takes me an extra 2-3 weeks. Gives me something to do in game. If I did this grind too fast, I’d probably just play less when I finish.

I like pugs cuz you get so much variety in group makeup and opponents group makeup; and the matches can be so unique.

Pug v pug > premade v premade imo. When im rolling with the premades it’s coo but pug stomping and breaking through turtles is kinda boring. Before the meta switched wsg was in a state of pug v pug bliss that I failed to appreciate in hindsight :frowning:

Those require exalted. I was pretty heavy into PvP back in the day. I don’t think I’m even close to revered on my retail main.

If anyone wants to hit exalted, they should start chipping away now!

what do casters get from WSG?

I would figure a 50-50 split in win loss to be a good thing to ensure people keep queuing.

Well I didn’t take it as W-L, I took it as getting roflstomped by premades.

Yes, a 50-50 w/l split is good.

How were the matchups? Blowouts or even?
