Just wanted to highlight something I think was an excellent idea for SoD. The grime encrusted salvages, objects, and pile’s of scrap parts provide a nice little gold return for the player to offset consumes when raiding. Since the salvages provide untradeable crafting parts, the demand for crafted mats like truesilver gears or the tailoring filaments remains high, and provide an incentive to keep raiding even after you get all the gear you want. Me personally, I find it exciting rolling on all the salvages after a boss, even if no other gear for me drops. Is it perfect? No, but I think we’re heading in a good direction with these items, and I’d love to see more of this sort of thing in the future.
