Wrong primary stats notification

So as a fair few people know, weapons do not automatically adjust their primary stat like main pieces do

While messing around on an alt, or doing random heroics I’ve noticed many people are this point who were wearing a weapon solely because its purple and didn’t realize that the mace has int on their warrior, or agility dagger on their mage

So like, yea maybe give people a little bit of a heads up when they’re wearing the wrong stat weapon just to make things easier for everyone

Thats because they dont know what they doing, and they asked for that weapon, it didnt drop for them

I am well aware they don’t know what they’re doing

They kill a rare and see a purple weapon so they slap it on instantly

So I’d just like blizz to give them a quick “hey this weapon isn’t for your spec” to save me from telling 5 people in lfr every wing they got the wrong stuff on

A lot of people don’t care, that notice would just be something to click and forget.

If basically every tutorial has told me anything…

People don’t read.

And if people don’t read, a pop-up telling you “This weapon is not for your specialization.” will not only get ignored by those who need it most, but then some those same people will scream on the forums “Hey, why am I not doing any damage?”

You can add it, but it won’t stop everyone from being braindead enough to disregard it. But hey, doing something is better than nothing, right?

people just tend to assume it’s stats they need these days and dont look. just an unfortunate reality.

I’m willing to bet that the vast majority that are doing that don’t give an expletive

There is legit a single Epic Intellect 2H Mace in Dragonflight.

It’s the crafted one.

If a Warrior is swinging one around, they had it crafted.

hey now warriors need intellect now after they keep rushing head first into stuff lol

Or they could, like, give players appropriate gear for the loot spec they have chosen. Or put multiple main stats on weapons.
